Do VW and Subaru share parts? The Steering wheel is very similar to the one from the GTI and Golf.

I think the true take away is they sell more station wagons than traditional golfs! Does no one else find that fact alone surprising?

I’m waiting to read the comment saying:

“I feel like every car I see on the road has Montana plates! I even saw a ‘97 Camry with Montana plates!”

Then later, have them realize they live in Montana...

10/10 would drive

I could totally have bought that!! How do I make sure I don't miss out on the next cheap airport that goes for sale?

Take a deep breath, force myself to smile, and be happy because today is a good day. I woke up, got to drive my car, and am in good health. Then if the left lane hog moves over, I continue on my merry way.

I just purchased a Cruze with the 1.4 turbo. Coming from a fully loaded ‘98 maxima this car is amazing. while a bit slow, the driving dynamics are very rewarding. Plus it really is a well proportioned car. The new one, from pictures at least doesn’t catch my interest like the current one. I would compare current looks

We bash on street racers all the time for being idiots. We’re constantly telling them if they want to drive fast, go to a track day. Are you now saying that mashing the go peddle is no longer appropriate at a track day? If it’s not allowed there where are people supposed to drive fast?

I love the reference to Ferrari there at the end with the frightened prancing horse.

What defines bad? is it simply a car that didn’t do what it was supposed to do? Or was it a car that was so bland and unmemorable that people (I) forgot it even existed? If its worst as in “blandest” I vote Dodge/Plymouth Neon.

My prediction is solar something. Make it possible to have the cars be fully green and not reliant on “dirty” energy.

I just bought a Cruze 2lt and I love it! It’s a surprisingly fun little car! While slower than my last car it feels quicker because the turbo makes things a bit more violent.

I'll have to second that the Maxima is number 2 on the list. I have a stock '98 and it scoots. Timed a 0-60 from a red light merging onto the highway and it was 8 seconds. pretty good for a 16/17 year old sedan.
