Almost every manufacturer now has clothing that wicks away sweat. Be it Nike or UA etc.

Mmhhh, yeah, not much I can say there. For me it was a bit of a longer slog too, though now, at least on trails, I do find the zone.

Yeah, if your stride is too long you tend to hit on the heel, which isn't really what our foot is supposed to do.

What's the problem with running? If it feels hard I could suggest doing some strengh training first. For me lacking the appropriate muscular support was what made running hell, once I had rectified this it was just a matter of getting into the mind space and run at a pace that feels comfortable.

Besides what iliketoeat said, one thing I found helping with stride adjustment is running without shoes. Yes, there are barefoot shoes and I use the ones that don't look like gloves for the feet, but if all you want is to adjust your stride a nice patch of grass will that too. You will get instant feedback as to how

I would call partial BS on that attitude, mostly because how the heck do you think most of us got around until ~100 or so years ago? Running / walking was pretty much the way we got around.

Yeah well, it's a mind over matter thing. I attempted it a few years ago, did the entire course twice only to then not be able to start :(

" if you're going to run 42K you have to be SUPER into running"

I suggest to read: "Born to Run". I have been doing various Ultra sports for a decade now and reading that book last year was probably the closest I could ever come to explain to someone WHY I do these things, be it 200K on the bike or 30+K on a trail, or new for this winter Cross Country ski.

Actually my argument is that third wave feminism is dead, regardless if there was a patriarchy or not.

" I know you want to desperately refute it [..] don't change male privilege."

"a few things that are little more than anecdotal evidence."

"you simply can't tell someone that their feelings are invalid or wrong because you don't agree with them."

" That doesn't mean that I get to tell people of colour that their concerns, their experiences and their desires are invalid or "non-issues"."

The amusing thing about this whole "don't tell a woman to man up" etc. is that at the same point in time these same people claim that male dominated jobs need to be more "friendly to women", read: Guys should behave more like women because only then women feel "welcomed".

"Women start out severely disadvantaged"

Did it ever occur to you that most males would like more females being involved with video games but not by being told that THEY are the reason they aren't?

Are you advocating for equality on opportunity or opportunity in outcome? Because quite frankly, the way most of these "articles" read it's about the latter.

Require cars to look like they're from Mad Max?

So no season then? Sad :( Comparing this to pretty much any other new show that started this was way better executed (Hello Revolution, I am looking at you).
