"The person who made this site isn't breaking the law and they're using it with the hopes of deterring further perverted acts, which isn't vengeance."

Yes, open your statement with an insult, it makes you sound very intelligent.

Or maybe lesbians?

No but it would pretty much kill any and all photography anywhere. You take a photo of your friend in a park? Oops, someone in the background, so now you are breaking the law.

Not knowing that subreddit, are all those photos taken by the posters are they pilfering the internet for "interesting shots" to share with other "like minded people"?

Clearly you are not outraged enough and thus part of the problem.

I wouldn't dismiss it, though you may have an issue relating her photo on the site (and probably many other sites on the internet as these things tend to spread) directly caused the assault, especially if there is no further identifying information about her associated with the image.

"She doubts the guy exists, and his existence has yet to be proven so her doubt of his existence is not inappropriate."

Yeah, but that was "journalism" and that's different than some people randomly sharing "creepshots" on the internet's cest pit aka Reddit (as far as a certain element of internet feminists are concerned).

Wow, how to misunderstand me.

I think there's a difference at what you shoot. I "grew up" around photojournalists and they always were "frugal" with their shots, simply because they were limited by what they could carry with them into the field. Studio photography was and is "wasteful" I am not disagreeing, but that was a part of photography that

Sorry, but even though a pro may shoot "a ton", at least before the advent of digital it was still way less than the average "snapper" takes these days.

Uh what? What makes you think that American hands could produce a better phone? Ever heard of the shoddy work that Detroit puts out on a pretty regular basis? Where is the "micro assembly" experience in North America?

I always thought that was more out of necessity than "desire" so to speak? But I do stand corrected, and yes of course, North America is huge and there will be people who enjoy playing such games. This was obviously a generalization :)

I have to say, I have never seen this and I don't think I want to......

Get a big SD card and shoot a ton.

You know what's funny? One type of game is utterly popular in Germany but hardly outside of that: Economic Simulations and by extend I guess a strategy game that would incorporate logistics (or be purely about logistics) would probably sell well (heck, I'd play it).

My understanding was that the US had a treaty with Taiwan to provide "military assistance", though memory is a bit hazy right now.

Yep, I think this is what will end up happening. "Luckily" for China they have Taiwan and the US who has promised to protect it.
