The writing was on the wall two years ago and almost everybody who I told that laughed at me and told me Apple would never be that stupid.

I heard about this on the radio on Friday.

This is not about commuter cyclists but people who go out for fun (and some for profit).

MMmhh? A C-41 colour kit costs around $20, it'll last for at least 20 rolls if not more, that's not really that expensive.

Let this blow your mind. The first test development happened in the 1920s, it took a few years to get it to the masses, but just think about two guys sitting in their living room basically coming up with that.

"It really shows how cumbersome and complex the process of developing film is/was, and why analogue photography never really stood a chance against the onslaught of digital technology."

The problem is that many people will suppor the police though, the whole "Will someone please think of the children" argument will be made and anybody who happens to disagree will be called names. And if it isn't the little ones, well, there are them terrorists.

I think that's memory constraint. Shut down some apps and you may see less of it.

"The issue is that photography is an elitist skill"

Because most digital photos are pretty "soulless". They look very "digital" if you want and they all look the same after a while.

What? And question the might of US Law Enforcement? I am surprised the US didn't just sent a carrier group to bomb him back to the stone age.

Would we then be talking about the seriousness of his offenses?

I wouldn't want to stand next to any piece of artillery going off (or being on the receiving end for that matter).

"The only plausible explanation, apart from being super-extra-careful because they thought that John McCain may be hanging around somewhere, is that they wanted to set an example. "

Don't forget there is also a wallop of a gas cloud shooting out of the gun, he seems to stand right next to it, so he may get his lungs scorched / suffocated. Not sure what the overpressure would do to his lungs either.

"Also, if he was standing that close to a cannon when the alien gets blown away, wouldn't he go deaf, like, instantly?"

Sounds like a cool idea, but I fear I'll break it. Any of these types of whisks (mostly plastic that is) I seem to break on a semi-regular basis. I invested into an "all steel" one and that has lasted now for two years.

Well, they call them "the rules" because it absolves you from thinking for yourself.

Try it on flickr, it'll get you tons of hits and lot's of "I love it!!!!11111" posts.

LIvedrive works. They allow you to share folders publicly. Not sure if they will still next week, but for now they do.
