Just tell them to get it. Regardless of the NX, the WiiU has a lot of awesome, exclusive titles.

Zelda moves units. Even if it is on NX, people just wanting to play new Zelda will get the cheaper WiiU. Not to mention that it just has a straight up awesome library.

How would their designer’s be competing? It’s not like people won’t buy new Mario games.

It is damn shame. Factor 5 was really great. I wonder what Julian Egbrecht is up to nowadays. I’d love a Rogue Squadron HD for WiiU. That would sell some systems!

It is an interesting idea. If the money got sliced up the same way a new sale did I would consider it. Other than that it is hard to say. Most of my digital titles are titles I’d not part with anyway.

You can still download PT. Very easily. Just set a proxy on your PC. Run your PS4 through that!

The PSVR also runs a lower resolution. All the games I have played run fine as far as framerate. Hell, the PS3 has plenty of titles that run at 60FPS. It doesn’t have to run at 120, it can do 60 per eye. The WiiU runs 2 displays, sometimes rendering totally separate parts of the map, all at 60FPS. Not all games, but…

I think if people would think of it more as a display type that it would seem more sensible. A lot of game types can benefit from a full 360 view with head tracking. Just that in addition to what we already use will be great. Speaking as a console gamer.

I feel like it’s a cram to get a large number of titles out. Maybe devs felt the same as we do? The tech wasn’t there, so they kept working on other things. Now the tech is there so we’re getting stuff that’s been in development for a year or so only. There are exceptions, EVE and Lucky’s Tale come to mind…

See, I have to disagree. It resolved the one plot thread I needed resolved from Trigger. It had the same whimsy and charm. Lore wise, it wouldn’t be happening if the events of Trigger didn’t happen. It takes place afterwards. Totes sequel. More a sequel than any mainline FF title has been to its predecessors.
