FCA is currently / has been scraping the bottom of the barrel as far as quality goes... IIRC Jeep, Dodge, Ram, and Chrysler were basically 26-30 out of 30 in quality/reliability rankings.

Charger R/T or Scat Pack is exactly what came to mind for me too. Plenty of go, with 4 doors and room for the kiddos / big trunk. Bonus points - 50% of the idiots in traffic will probably think you’re a cop.

My counter point would be that not everyone is rock crawling / needs crazy breakover angles for the off-roading that they do. The JKU got a TON of crap when it first came out / still does for having a worse breakover angle than the regular JK. For the standard logging roads, snow hooning, beach driving, and

This is not really a deal on it. I bought one on amazon for $14.99. For $19, you can get a 2 pack of them at Costco.

You guys have space for outdoor activities down there? Steep driveways? Curbs? Potholes? Old people?

The troll looks like ET & DK had a baby...

I agree with you there - My ‘14 Wrangler Unlimited felt like I was doing ~60 when I was doing 40. Now in my WRX, 80 on the highway feels slow.

Illogical NP from me.

It’s refreshing to see a positive piece on Tesla on Jalopnik. Lately it’s been “Tesla XYZ! OMG! WHAT! BAD!” almost as if the name was mixed up with another forbidden 5 letter “T” word.

What is the advantage of the wheel well vent?? Based on my JKU ownership experience, sand/mud/everything gets sprayed along the body by the tires. Is this a vent from the engine bay? Is it an aerodynamic thing to reduce drag from the fenders? If it’s not shielded A LOT then the JL’s will look like they have runny

Same deal when I bought my WRX. I emailed 4 dealers with the identical configuration for order in 2 weeks. I asked for best and final pricing. Responses below:

We recently purchased a ‘17 F150 XL w/ STX package and the 5.0 V8. It’s the utility vehicle of the family, but we all love it. The seats are plush, carplay works well, and the engine is a monster. I DD a ‘16 WRX, and find the F150 to be almost as much fun because of the exhaust note and fact that it’s actually

Ran when parked. No low ballers I know what I got.

Weird. I personally dislike chrome wheels so figured they looked extra flashy on the infinity.

Are/were chrome wheels ever a stock option on the G37? I feel like those alone help it stand out.

I got this with my Wrangler, and it stated that I was covered to 36,100 miles since it had 100 miles on it from driving from a diff dealership (made them swap for it).

36k < 40k... if they had repaired it, it would have been as a courtesy since you were 4K out of warranty and declined an extended warranty.

Did ever say the Porsche wasn’t worth it? Nope.

Yeah we bought a ‘12 Overland V8 new in 2011, and when it was time for something new this spring we were very surprised at how high a Grand Cherokee can get. Ended up in a GLE400 SUV for a bit more instead.

So better performance than a Cayenne Turbo S, at half the cost, with much cheaper maintenance. Very interesting!
