As an aside:Catholics are not evangelicals. In fact, Catholics were a lot more liberal and radical in the US for most of the 20th century-it’s only more recently that the church has taken a swerve to the right.

Dyslexia, dementia, diarrhea. Lots of d’s in there.

I mean Family Guy isn’t great in many ways, but Seth McFarlane hasn’t had any accusations. I’m not sure how you’re trying to frame this? Actually I’m not sure of any of this. It’s shitty however any of this occurred and whatever accusations are true. I firmly plant myself as team no one.

There’s an important distinction to be made here between a leaker and a journalist. When someone leaks a document to the journalist, it’s entirely the journalist’s prerogative whether or not they want to report on that. They have not signed any NDAs and have no obligation to protect companies’ secrets. In fact, a

Maybe I’m old. Maybe I’ve been married “to long”. Maybe I just don’t like bullshit. But I don’t care if you wear makeup or not.

Yes, I’m the illiterate one, not the people who equate approximating a darker skin tone with smearing greasepaint all over your face, painting on big white lips, and doing a grotesque racial caricature.

You know what I find offensive?  Insistently referring to every instance of using makeup to approximate a darker skin tone as ‘blackface.’

I got down voted to hell on the subreddit for suggesting more representation might be a good thing. No matter how many times it happens I’m always surprised at how fans of a very open minded scifi or fantasy series somehow still seem to attract people who seem to just ignore the larger plot and focus purely on some

Some of the cast was pretty good though, despite bad writing and direction. Żebrowski looks more like Geralt to me than Cavill.

This should be huge. Sapkowski is as big or bigger than Tolkien in Eastern Europe, but still relatively unknown here.

As a longtime fan of the books before there were any games, calling the books a “prequel to the game” makes me cringe.

They will probably start with adaptation of at least some of the short stories from The Last Wish (Geralt meeting Yennefer and how Ciri’s origins for sure and probably the original The Witcher story that started it all) and Sword of Destiny (Geralt and Ciri meeting in Brokilon and then getting together again) before

They are actually going to use Jaskier (Polish for buttercup and Dandelion’s original name in Polish) for the Netflix book adaptation.

Yennifer, Triss, Ciri, Regis, Dandilion...I think people who didn’t read the books might not be aware that Geralt is nearly a side character in his own series (though I presume the show will adapt it in a way to put the focus on him). Ciri is the focus of probably 50%, if not more of the plot. I wonder if they’ll age

Desperados isn’t turn-based nor is it an RPG. It’s a squad-based stealth game.

Those are just games with isometric (or top-down, in the case of Frozen Synapse) cameras. Commandos, Desperados and Shadow Tactics were all squad-based stealth games that revolved around vision cones and distractions. It’s a very specific genre.

I’m really hyped, Commandos was my jam back in the day, and I LOVED Desperados (I think they were the first ones to use a system where you could queue actions, this allowed the gunslinger to take down 3 enemies at once) and Shadow Tactics hit all the right marks for me for a revival of the genre.

CD Projekt Red, confirmed den of transphobia and intolerance. I won’t buy a single game they release in 2018!

That tweet wasn't transphobic.

So um, do you really think people who have chosen to be adult sex workers support underage sex trafficking?
