This is why I like my 80's cars.
They're dangerous as hell, and force me to know my limits and never do anything stupid. If I'd done this in my '86 Cabriolet at half this speed... game over.

I had to pull some crazy maneuvers on my bike this afternoon. Some jack-hole in an Integra nearly hit me while we were merging onto some surface streets, and as I sped up to avoid becoming another statistic, some asshat city cop was making an illegal u-turn to investigate a car dead-stopped in the right lane.

I'm a pretty damn good mechanic, so I can keep the cost low on an already inexpensive 308/328.
Close it down because it's horribly dangerous?
NASCAR still involves race cars. Untold fortunes go into R&D and construction. Those cars are absolute marvels of race engineering.
