I think it just highlights how P&E haven't lost just ONE child this season. Henry is fucking gone at this point. That kid is definitely not going to give a fuck what his parents say if they start barking orders, like, say, needing to bug out quickly.

On timeline notes: Since it seems certain the show will go to five seasons, and I doubt Season 4 will start much later than between a day and a week from this finale, it seems clear the show will never make it past 1986, if it even makes it to 1985. Important events coming up in the timeline:

I feel bad for Gaad. He was right about everything, and Stan is getting rewarded for his bad behavior. Stan's given him nothing but trouble for a season and a half now.

Fuck that, he makes The Girl Next Door amazing by himself. He elevates that movie.

The midseason preview showed more of that confrontation. It's not guaranteed we'll get resolution but Paige absolutely will lose her shit.

This film deserved an award simply for being one of the only films of the past 25 years, that I can recall, to use a Beatles song in a non grating way.
