The need to dress her up as fat is because the person she is portraying was fat, and the show is designed to be a realistic dramatic re-telling of real life events. So the actress needs to look identifiably like the real person.

This is ridiculous. Ezra Miller needs to go to prison for their YEARS-long crime spree, and Warner Bros. needs to just release the film and let it flop like it was meant to. There is no retconning this situation.
