Mary and Max. I was full on ugly crying.

David Zuckerman is a super cool guy. I chatted with him about his early writing credit for Freddy's Nightmares.

Or tonight. Here's the interview:

I had an interview with David Zuckerman and he answered a lot of questions about the Flock of the Grey Shepherd and Jenna and Ryan and the happiness of Ryan's unhappiness. I can post it tomorrow.

I actually got to interview Mark Johnson about "Rectify" and "Breaking Bad" (sorta), and he even dropped minor tidbits about "Better Call Saul." He was a super nice guy and showed so much insight into the thought process to "Rectify."

FX warned critics that something was coming at the 30 minute mark, and all I felt was sick as it approched the halfway point. I was certain I would see Lorne Chighur sitting with a sniper rifle. And yet, I was stunned. And I was so stunned at the end of the episode. It was an unforgettable ending.

No, no, no. Olyphant is Roland Deschain.

But no. I just noticed that commonalities are present in the plotting. SOA is a show about redundancy.

I think it's safe to assume everyone on the internet is Sean Young at one point in time. And all the others are just Tim Burton hiding behind their desks.

Here's a drinking game:

Also, this:

AND it wasted Ray McKinnon, who I thought was a breath of fresh air on the show. I enjoyed his charcter because he felt like a different kind of foe, other than shiftless, greedy fatcat or corrupt cop. Or neo-Nazi scumbags. It's a rolodex of gutter dogs.

I actually like Chibs and Tig. But when your show has us rooting against the hero in a bad way, it's time to course correct. Except it's too late.

And you know what, I actually enjoyed season six, to an extent. Even the finale, I found to be good in places, because the of the slow pacing. Then, Gemma became even worse than I ever felt about her, And remember, this is a character that we had all the sympathy for in season two.

I had sympathy for Juice, until the writers made the mistake of confusing haunted and tortured with complete insolence and bratty behavior.

Nailed it! Why did Galen stay alive for so long? Plot. That's why?

I'll be finishing it, I just meant that I know it'll be a slog. If every episode is 90 minutes and the final is two hours? Jeez, that's a lot of meandering brutality.

I think Sutter doesn't realize that there's shock for the sake of plot, and shock for the sake of shock (see anything with Otto). Other showrunners and their writers can plot a show out and make things feel natural, this show makes it feel like a game of chess were no matter how many moves you make, it's always the

Glutton for punishment that I am, yes. I usualy stay with a show until the bitter end.

Look, I used to love Sons of Anarchy. I mean, it was an enjoyable show to a point. And then, the season six finale happened, and all I saw online were people that were elated that Tara was killed (and the graphic manner in which it was done was plain unforgivable), and that sickened me. It's a show that used to care
