Honestly, even if he hadn’t assaulted Dr. Ford, Ms. Ramirez or Ms. Swetnick, I feel his behavior said all we need to know. Hillary Clinton sat for 11 hours being railed at when she didn’t do anything wrong, and she did not lash out, yell about how this is a conspiracy drummed up by the Republican party, and tell her

Possibly. He pissed his way through the whole hearing. IMO, it may be cognitive bias, but I absolutely agree it comes off particularly dickish towards a woman given the nature of the whole thing and knowing the kinda shitbag he is.

Absolutely. I caught bits and pieces because I couldn’t bear to watch the whole thing, but he was especially combative towards Klobuchar, and the cheap (veiled) digs in light of her father’s alcoholism (which she did disclose at the very beginning) were disgusting.

But did he attack them the way he did Klobuchar? Methinks there’s an underpinning of how he feels about women in his Klobuchar interaction.

Fellow Minnesotan here. Klobuchar 2020.

Another response would be, “How about you pick up the ironic mansplaining you’re currently throwing down and put it in the shitter?”

My “I should have said” I commented somewhere else was “I don’t have a line of women accusing me of rape. Ya got one of those, Brett?”

But the GOP is more interested in who paid for CBF’s polygraph test than who covered The Dishonorable Judge Rapenaugh’s gambling debts.

Another response would have been to peer silently over her glasses at him until he answered. If he took more than 5 seconds, “Do you need me to repeat the question?”

Hey, who hasn’t spent $250,000 on baseball tickets?

As a Minnesotan I was so angry to see Amy spoken to like that. She is a goddamn treasure.

This was so inappropriate. Did he do this to a male senator? Why does Klobuchar need to be on the defensive? It’s beyond ridiculous.

That sounded horrible over the radio as I drove home from work. Then I started streaming the video on cnn.com and saw the facial expressions and body language he was using and it all became so much worse. What a petulant little pissant. The crux of his thesis seemed to be no more than “How DARE you question my

Exactly! 3-4 glasses of a wine on an empty stomach are at least producing fuzzy memories.

Snappy Answers to Stupid Questions. A favorite recurring gag!

Anyone who has ever more than 3 drinks in a sitting knows he’s lying, especially when he started drinking as a teenager and loves his beer. That’s not a guy who has one beer with dinner and calls it a night. That’s a guy cracking one at noon on Saturday to watch football and drinks the rest of the day with his

I mean, this is a guy who recently had 200k+ of debt (from an incredibly unbelievable reason) magically wiped out. Whoever bought him sure as hell isn’t going to let their investment go to waste.

I was traveling in the afternoon, yesterday, and a bunch of the hearing was coming over NPR. What struck me the most was BK’s argumentative tone, his whinging, all the shouting and the nonstop haranguing about how all the dem questions were part of some vast left wing conspiracy. Honestly, democrats couldn’t come up

This reminds me of those old MAD Magazine bits on “I should have said”. She should have said “I’M asking the questions here, Mr. Kavanaugh, not you”, but of course I am sure she was flummoxed by his unmitigated gall in even asking her that.  At any rate, I just came here to say FUCK. THIS. GUY.

I just have to say, you don’t necessarily have to even have a problem with alcohol to have had times where there are lapses in your memory. I think that’s a fairly common occurrence among people who ever drink to excess. Not necessarily blacking out the entire night, but just not remembering certain things or certain
