What about Bond jumping off a cliff and grabbing control of a plane in mid-air from the beginning of Goldeneye?

That’s pretty much what most “Grindhouse” movies were - they didn’t have a budget for multiple sets and set pieces, so for better or worse Death Proof accurately recreates the structure.

“In The Cabin In The Woods, having characters who were more walking plot contrivances than fully realized human beings was an asset, given the nature of the story.”

I don’t think anyone is asking/telling you to be.

Well they were actually successful business-people and not a bunch of crooks, so that follows.

That seems like a major assumption.

Kemper doesn’t deserve to be placed right next to Trump in that sentence. It’s not fair to suggest she’s part of the same cancer Trump represents.

“Damn, damn damn!”

“Working regularly” means he’s getting paid for regular stand-up gigs. That isn’t happening right now.

Never said he would never work again.

Not what I said. Your embrace of strawman doesn’t say a lot for your original argument.

He’s done it twice. If he shows up again next month, you may have an argument.

Seeing as that’s what’s happening, yes.
