I was just pissed I couldn't find a way to remove the helmet or change the color of my bright red downloadable armor.

@JFL: I just found out some moron with the same name as me is on Facebook. I clicked it to see. Facebook does need more privacy, I can tell my looking at his picture he's not such a bright fellow.

Sounds like a fun job. Go around China and tell people they can't speak English, and I'm gonna make them buy new signs. Then when they throw a fit I can tell them I'm with "The Government" and watch them comply as their fearful eyes stare into mine.

@Krogdor: I can understand Vista, but I've yet to run into any issues running Windows 7 64-bit. Everything runs just fine, and there's plenty of room for RAM upgrades. No reason not to upgrade.

I don't have a webcam. And who has Vista or Windows 7 and doesn't use 64-bit?

Well...at least I got to play a God of War game on my PSP...can it do anything else? Anything useful?

I've already gotten rid of pretty much everything except the forward, back, refresh, stop, and home buttons, and I could probably get rid of them, since the functions they provide are already attached to keybindings that I know well. If I could stick my tabs all on the same bar, I would.

@Defenestrated: Probably not. But there's a sizable group out there (myself included) that played Crackdown in the mean time, and enjoyed the gameplay a good deal. Sure, there wasn't really a story, or really anything other than running around and taking people out, but when I heard there was a game you play as a

@Shiryu: Looks like the blue spartan surprised the red on from behind. Instead of just whipping out his big gun, he chose to stealthily come up behind, violating and humiliating the red spartan.

@Cirap: Even if they had the rights to it, which they don't, what's the point? Halo without the aliens, the flaming blue sticky grenades, the futuristic vehicles, the occasionally awesome weapons along with the average ones that have a twist applied to them, and the fact that no matter what you do, crazy stuff is

If they did get into other mythologies, an explanation of how all the gods came to be, how they achieved their power, and whether they only have domain over certain areas would be nice. As of right now it's just kind of implied the Greek pantheon is (was) the only group, and that they controlled the entire world, just

@krn: That doesn't contribute towards making it a viable commercial product. If it's going to succeed then it needs to rope people in and keep them there. Google's strategy might, with time, make for a better product, but it's not the best business strategy.

@Z_Naught: Compared to the last few Halo games, this one has made some radical changes. It still looks like Halo, but it's not longer just the last game with some improvements. Armor abilities replace equipment, Elites and Spartans are no longer equal. You can argue that these changes mean little, as Equipment was not

@krn: Google betas are effectively releases. When everyone gets about 25 invites, it's not difficult to get in.

When can we expect a "Kids On Your Lawn" simulator?

@talkingstove: No, if Wave fails it's because it was released too early and was missing some simple features such as removing people from a Wave. If it had been worked on more extensively, then Google Wave could have been released as a nearly finished product that would have kept a large number of it's initial users

I learned copy and paste first!

@Astrophizz: I've never had any major issues with it. It uses the Matroska library, so there shouldn't be any issues. Obviously, some can crop up from time to time.

@Astrophizz: No, it doesn't. The fact that it 100% supports MKV is, in itself, astonishing. Seriously, almost nothing support MKV.
