@mcderek3000: As does the custom level creator. Expanding the ability for the fanbase to go outside the standard RTS mechanics is what keeps the game alive. Multiplayer helps for awhile, and obviously being a "sport" does as well. But the ability to have new content constantly put out will keep it alive far longer

@(Plant) soulsiphon: It just leads to people who earned it feeling like they were ripped off by it being handed to someone else, and assuming there's a higher echelon of rewards that can't be bought and must be earned, it will leave the people with plenty of spare cash crying that it's not fair they need to put
