That synopsis sounds terrible, the key ingredient to the Addams Family is their fish out of water aspect, if you stick Wednesday in an equally dark atmosphere you lose that.

The thing that struck me about the film is the lack of tent pole actors. There is a lot of Asian actors in it but when you look at their filmographies it’s by and large bit parts in large movies. Like Endgame for one scene or Dark Knight for two. Impressive but not lead roles.

Shaq actually played the first live action DC movie character as a black man in Steel. I mean it’s symantics but I think it should read DCEU instead of DC.

Truthuly I would have compressed it down to one episode and tied each episode to dark events surrounding the hotel. They could have stretched Nightstalker and Unter wenger out to an episode a piece too and the fourth being about deaths, drugs, prostitution through the years.
