Totally. With the exception of pitchers legit prospects rarely play in AAA for an extended period of time. AAA is mostly guys who serve as injury replacements, guys who were never quite good enough for the MLB, and guys who are no longer quite good enough for the MLB. AA is a developmental league, AAA is not.
