At first the thought of cheering during the anthem seemed disrespectful, but it’s actually kinda moving in a weird way. I wish they cheered it everywhere.

I agree with everything you’ve said and would like to subscribe to your newsletter.
I know it sounds crazy, but it used to be worse. The Bengals used to be what the Browns are now.
Thank you. I needed this.
I’m also a guy from Ohio. Miami is a public school, and actually has a great academic reputation. The business school is particularly strong. I know Ohio State has gotten better in recent years, but when I was applying to Ohio schools ~15 years ago it was much tougher to get into Miami than OSU.
Yeah, by landmass, but not by population. The split on the map is right at the Chicago river. The North side has way more people than the South side.
Jason’s comment about being as bad as the Browns may be the most delusional thing I’ve ever read. The Bears may suck, but they’re nowhere near the Browns. The Bears have only had one season with less than 5 wins since 2002. The Browns only have one season with more than 5 wins since 2007. The Browns have 1 win in the…
You can always count on that Taco Bell for good stories.
Ultimately it all just comes down to $$ for Disney, obviously. The alt-right can piss and moan all they want, but they don’t affect box office sales as much as they’d like to pretend that they do. Just look at how successful Black Panther has been. If alt-right websites posting about a movie could negatively affect…
I was going to say a video of him talking with Putin in early 2016 about how they’re going to steal the election and screw over the American people for their own personal gain. But even that would be denied. They’d claim it’s CGI.
Why bother? We already have the perfect take on the story. You’ll never do better than Men in Tights. They’re just setting themselves up for failure.
I didn’t say everyone. According to MIT’s living wage calculator (http://livingwage.mit.edu/) a living wage in rural areas is at or above $10 per hour. That’s not always easy to come by, especially in rural areas. And that’s just to cover the basics of staying alive.
Exactly. Plus, more people were able to survive on one income. Day care is essentially required now that almost everyone needs 2 incomes.
Ummm, no. This isn’t about buying nice toys and new clothes. It’s about day care costing $2,000 per month or more. Not buying baby Einstein toys isn’t going to save you $24,000 per year per child for five years. Day care is more expensive than college was. The only difference is that, for day care, there are no loans…
You’re awfully generous giving Cincy 3 Hall-of-Famers. That includes only 4 years of Charlie Joiner before he became great in San Diego and 1 (final) year of Terrell Owens. It’s hard to make a case that the Bengals should get much credit for either of their HOF inductions...
This is the best idea I’ve ever heard. How do we make this happen?
Just keep getting close but without actually touching him. Through the sheer volume and force of his many flops he will eventually take himself out. It’s the perfect crime.
Agreed. I saw it as her way to essentially keep all of Dryden’s wealth and power as her own by taking his place. If she ran off with Han she’s broke again (and with a very powerful organization looking for her, no doubt).
Yeah, but the point is that it doesn’t matter whether driving or taking an Uber is better when there’s often a far superior option. It’s like arguing about whether JR Smith or Kevin Love is the best Cleveland Cavalier. Neither, it’s LeBron. Stop wasting time talking about plan B and plan C.
Yeah. Living and working in Chicago, you take the CTA, it’s $2.50. Now that I live in the burbs I take Metra, which works out to about $4.50 per ride. One time the train was significantly delayed I looked up what it would cost to Uber or Lyft and it was like $50 one way and would take longer than my normal commute. I…
