I'm already fatigued with articles referencing Superhero fatigue…

Yeah, but he hasn't blocked Richard Bachman yet! Ahh! Ahh!

When the fuck we supposed to stop?

What Power? The Power of Vodoo?

"ominous clown doll". What do I have to do, draw you a freaking map?

Please do not.

Your Genny Octoberfest was downright, unapologetically good.

Again, not asking for a clean up. I'm suggesting people read/watch/adapt things that are useful. On the issue of racism, I'll go with what one of my undergraduate professors said. "If you read Huck Finn and thought Twain was a racist because of the n-word, you failed the comprehension portion."

You are richer from the non-experience.

No, but I'd pick and choose what you adapt. I'm a completist by nature; as that I've read and enjoyed some Heinlein, but unfortunately, in my quest to read all of them, I've also read a lot of things like The Number of the Beast and the later Lazarus Long pieces which are rationalizing and advocating incest.

Heinlein's a fascinating mix. I recommend The Moon is a Harsh Mistress and The Unpleasant Profession of Johnathan Hoag as two vastly different books that are good entry levels as to what he does well.

Annnndddd we've found the worst villain

Poorly phrased on my part: it's the opposite problem. Synder's Ozymandias was miserable. In all my discussions/thinking about Watchmen in the past, that character was an afterthought. Synder butchering the character made me appreciate the book more.

Zack Synder's excretable Watchmen gave me a whole new appreciation for Ozymandias as a character.

Ha. Played. Dong.
