Really? I loved Religulious. I find the anti-Maher thing from some on the left perplexing. He's great.

wait, I'm not supposed to like Bill Maher?
I disagree. I know all of the far left complaints about him. I've had those arguments. I think those people don't understand pragmatism and what actually gets things done in the real world. The complexities of the real world. It's so much easier to complain on the sidelines than to actually deal with so many competing…
There were three times as many people at the woman's march in DC on Saturday than there were at Trump's inauguration on Friday. And not a single arrest.
Uh. Unless you're joking you're missing the point. It's that even George W. Bush seems eloquent in comparison to Trump.
You seem overly confident of their ability to see all communications. They've met in person. This could have been communicated in a way that would not leave a trace.
Yeah, I mean some of it is partisan - people on a show like SNL tend to be liberals - but I really do think it's mostly because Obama is just not a humorous target. Like you say they made fun of Bill Clinton, and yes they made fun of Hillary & Bernie too although certainly in a more light hearted way than they make…
I loved the Putin thing, so I didn't miss him this week. But I definitely want to keep seeing his Trump. Still shouldn't be an every week thing - has more impact if it's not.
Yes, that was nice. Too often SNL beats their sketches into the ground. They didn't seem to that this time.
I love his Putin. Excellent.
I liked Friend Zone. I liked everything but Big Sean - not a fan - & the Obama ending.
That's more like … I don't what it's like. Those people are seriously certifiable.
Yeah; even as someone who is a huge supporter of President Obama and has defended him from attacks from both the right & left for years - that was a bit much.
Political comedy has to have an angle to work. I don't care how much of a sycophant I sound like saying this because I think it's pretty self evidently true: Obama just doesn't have any obvious humorous flaws. What's the angle there?
that Wanda Sykes was right on the money. made me do a double take.
I agree we shouldn't be OK with violence like this. Even if it's against a neo-nazi. But at the same time I think there's a bit of catharsis there because of how threatening these people have been. Sort of like "no, we're not going to let you do this." So… I don't know. I can see both sides of this argument.
I'm generally of that opinion (SNL is just bad) but I really enjoyed the sketches this week. Not sure if I was just in the right mood or what.
That's about the best I've ever seen it put. That could be a "a-ha" moment for some dudes I think.
Agreed about the ending, made me feel uncomfortable. And I'm about as big of a President Obama fan as you can find. I love the man and think he's basically perfect. Still; that was a bit much and I think kind of undercuts their more pointed jokes about Trump. Yes we know these guys are liberals. Trump got 9% in…
Definitely dismissive. "Owner of a Lonely Heart" was them doing the '80s thing. It's like saying Paul McCartney is that guy who did "Ebony & Ivory."
