it's weird how everyone decides to dislike a previously beloved celebrity all at once … some sort of creepy internet groupthink or somethin' …

definitely sounded like a studio recording to me. it always takes me out of shows when the sound (and performances) in these situations are a little too perfect

fuckin' love this guy. fuck everyone who doesn't understand how awesome it is that Barack Obama is President. you god damn idiots. I shit in all of your mouths. maybe that was a bit too aggressive? just tired of people not getting just how much he's accomplished and how much of a bad ass he is despite so much

I think the problem is rap is inherently silly - and it just doesn't work for an older man to rap.

it never ceases to amaze me the incredibly insane bullshit people believe. at a certain point it probably just becomes fun to believe crazy shit so they stick with it.

This may be considered trolling but I truly believe it to be the case: Game of Thrones makes these movies seem like child's play. I watched that last Hobbit movie and it just seemed so … unrealistic. Just silly. Like an amusement ride made into a movie.

I thought it was funny when he was eating chips on the phone in Fight Club … but you can't see him

looks like he's had lots of jobs recently actually (just visited his IMDB page) including INTERSTELLAR which I hear is quite good. planning on seeing it soon myself.

Exactly. I find this article shockingly misguided. It's like .. really? you're critiquing the LYRICS of an AC/DC song? who fuckin' cares? I didn't even know it had lyrics (other than "you shook me all night long") and I … like just about everyone else… have heard it many times.

too cute for this song … that would fit a ballad. "thighs" works.

true enough - although America wasn't quite so fat back in 1980 …

Yes, I would agree that they are overrated by the average rock fan, but not so much by people really into music. Two different categories … but I think … well AC/DC did the kind of music that they did - extremely well. It's not serious music .. or "important" but people like it.

I'm not taking them seriously - the problem is that this article is taking their lyrics seriously - that's just … kind of dumb.

Yeah, I'm not a huge AC/DC fan either but I like "Shook Me All Night Long" - it's a good one. Quite enjoyable. And as you say "far from ineffective." It seems to be exactly what it's trying to be. This article seems to miss the point of what this kind of music is about.

yeah - but see the point isn't that they're shitty lyrics - the point is that lyrics don't matter. not in rock n roll.

What? I've never heard this kind of opinion about this song before. It's a great song. And you know with this kind of song lyrics just don't matter. Saying that this kind of song isn't good because of dumb lyrics is just missing the point of rock n roll in such an astonishing way … it's remarkable.

Slipknot… god.

funnily enough I've noticed comedians generally have shit taste in music. I think they focus too much on lyrics.

I think if you and your friends get together and play music that's awesome.

always hated Sublime, can definitely get on board with this one.
