Ping 100 times to gateway, ping 100 times to modem, ping 100 times to Google. Through a trace route in there too. Knowing if the issue is internal to your network or external is the biggest help.

My wife does this but also throws in garlic and apple cider vinegar. I'll just take the bourbon.

Linux can run Netflix streaming through Chrome. No it's not as polished of a solution as running it on a console or dedicated streaming box like Apple TV, Fire TV, Roku, etc. but it works.

I was always a bigger Mike fan. Nothing against Joel, since he started MST3K. I’ve just always enjoyed the post-Joel MST3K episodes more (not that I disliked the Joel episodes).

I don’t understand why anyone would get the Alienware Steam Machine over the Alienware Alpha. I have the i3 Alpha and can play Fallout 4 and the Witcher 3 just fine on Medium-High graphics (which some commenters don’t think is possible with the hardware specs, but that’s another issue). Linux is going to limit you.

Arguing PC vs Xbox One vs PS4 is a foolish endeavor. I make them all coexist on one shelf.

It’s all about being an intelligent backer. Do some research and if it seems too good to be true don’t back a project (The Soap Router being one project I backed and then cancelled my pledge after watching drama unfold in the comments section). I have 50 projects backed and were successful. None of the projects I

I had lag with public beta 5, GM and final. Moved up to 9.1 public beta 1 and it is buttery smooth. Edit: I have an iPhone 6 Plus but it has also been smooth on my iPad Mini 1st gen.

My fiancée laughed at my popcorn maker when I bought it the last time it was on here. “Waste of money and counter space”. That was until I made her a batch of sweet sriracha popcorn. Now I get a request for it at least once a week. Sometimes multiple times per movie night.

I’m still a fan of my Zebralight H52. I carry it with me everywhere and can pop it back into its head band when I want a head lamp. It’s a single AA flash light so Eneloops and a solar charger do the job.

I was doing chat support for a while for a VOIP company. Just like over the phone, it’s impossible to get a straight answer out of the customers.

If you have a .edu email address the Western Digital Education store has great prices on the Red hard drives. I bought two 3 TB drives for about $240 shipped.

wait wait wait.... Monorail DLC and you just glossed over that fact????

Based on Sony's pricing of their previous wearable displays, the new Walkman, the audiophile SD card, and Vita memory cards (drop the God damn prices and release the 64gb card in the US!) I am not confident I will be able to afford this.

Another vote for the Minirig!

If you can live with a wired connection, the Pasce Minirig is the best portable speaker I have ever owned. Compared to my brother's Bose, it's seriously impressive for a mono speaker (that you can turn stereo by connecting additional minirigs). It gets LOUD, has a surprising range, is beautifully constructed, and

Gaming is possible. You just need to curb your expectations. I have a Dell Venue 8 Pro. I am able to play Borderlands 2, New Vegas, GOG classics, Mass Effect, Portal 2, etc etc. Obviously not at 60 FPS or at max resolution or all the flair that comes with setting the graphics at MAX. But I can game and enjoy it.

Worst case scenario is you have a $99 Bluetooth speaker. I'll bite.
