Copilot has served me well. I drive all over the god damn place and copilot has yet to let me down. And for the price, I really have zero issues with the product. Again with any mapping software ymmv but for NJ it is great, as my old GPS had problems with the whole jughandle/left turn thing that plagues this state.

I know they include 2 pairs of glasses with every 3d TV, but really, $150 to buy extra ones? And $250 for the initial cost of these Monster ones? Well actually Monster bending the consumer over is nothing new.

well i already have fifa 10 and wc, simcity and tiger woods. Picked up C&C, but the question remains: Shift vs Undercover?

@musiqrulez: I know ootunes uses VLC to currently handle the transcoding for iPhone.

Great for my ion htpc. My MacBook and iMac play 1080p content just fine and if I'm watching a movie on my computer I'm not doing much of anything else. Not a big loss, but it would be nice.

@ZFK: From what I understand, the iads on apps display like admob ads near the border of the screen. They are only interactive if you click on them and at least they don't dump you out of the application you are in.

@92BuickLeSabre: People are inherently kittens. Place something shiny, colorful, and noisy in front of them and they will want it. Put an iPad on the floor and run Bloom HD. A kitten and a human will have the same reaction. Also in a debt culture that has been trying to keep up with the Jones's for decades how

@ZFK: consumers like free, and ads help pay for the free shit you consume. Most devs want to be compensated for the work the put in.

@8oardR1der: That sounds dangerously anti capitalist. Why do you hate America? /s

We gave up privacy years ago. When you signed up for your first cellphone, installed AOL, filled out a form to win a free vacation, signed up for a gmail account, etc. you were letting your personal information loose into the wild. Such is the way being superconnected. Our picture frames now access the Internet

So just like a real iPad it's overpriced and useless?

"We did submit a iOS 4.0 app update to Apple ahead of their suggested date in order to be included on Launch day. Sadly, it appears we are still in "Review" as of today. We are hopeful that Apple will approve the update soon though.

@Kaiser-Machead: Airsharing Pro. It has replaced dropbox and iDisk apps, and I can copy files to my phones internal storage and then use the built in webserver to get the files onto a computer without having to email, have itunes installed or if the computer doesn't have working Internet but does have a network

"requires iPad". Good job updating the description apple.

@ScottHartnellsSenseOfBalance: as soon as simplify media shit the bed, I switched to ootunes. It was a little pricey but totally worth it.

Now I just need ooTunes and Slacker...

I have hundreds of apps and I think dropbox is the only one that was updated so far. None of the apps I could actually use backgrounded, such as streaming music or GPS. Texting replaced AIM so I don't need an always on chat client. I'm not big on Skype since I can just use my phone so having always on VOIP doesn't
