Sounds like you mostly just hate her for being successful. I mean, to each their own in terms of musical style or whatever, but Taylor Swift is one of the most likeable current celebrities out there, even if it all is just branding. Girl is an excellent businesswoman.

Yeah I’m not always the biggest T Swift fan but she seems completely right here. If Apple wants to lure people in with a free trial, which is a totally standard marketing move, it’s on them to pay for it as part of their promotion costs. A hotel offering a free night’s stay to new visitors wouldn’t be able to forgo

My cats have never defended me like this, but I still love them. The most they’ve done is give people that evil death glare when I’m upset with them (them being the people), and pee on my husband’s clothes when I’m mad at him. They also will gang up on my husband and give him the group glare of death. Won’t hurt or

“...what black voter is actually better off for having voted for them?”

“Don’t worry. They don’t mean you. You’re not really black. Not like that.

“Your English is great. You almost sound totally American. It's nice to hear someone actually try.”

“Girls who have been raped are normally fucking crazy; you actually seem really normal and pretty stable.”

Maybe that’s why Miley likes her so much.

Um, neither Scott nor Schwartzmann felt awkward, and even if they did they clearly understood the usefulness of that discomfort. Stop defending rich white guys against daytime hosts. They are like literally the last people who need allies right now.

Your post prompted me to finally respond to a family member on FB. My cousin, Racist Brian, is disgusted that people are “making this about race.” He says “these people want a civil war.” I pointed out to him that when Dylann Roof confessed, he stated that the shootings were racially motivated and that his intention

We are all that lady in the hat. Her laughter is the sound of pure irony.

I completely agree with this. Roof should not be given publicity at all. He should not become a household name. The focus should be on the victims and the underlying societal issues that caused this horrific mass killing ie. Racism and gun control.

There is no simple answer but here’s what I do know: white people are more likely to take other white people seriously. Call your racist grandfather out (I’m speaking hypothetically, not personally). Call your racist aunt out. Call your racist friend out. They are more likely to listen to you than me because they look

Australia got rid of guns. We can too.

Why is this the NRA’s standard party line answer? Attack the symptoms without addressing the etiology.

It’s never the gun that killed people that matters, it’s the gun the dead ones didn’t have.

Is there a way to post stories about this tragedy, without posting his asshole face on the front page. The media needs to stop showing pictures of him (and others like him who commit these atrocities.) This is what he wanted, to be infamous! Don’t give him that power!

Yeah! When black people say that they were just trying to go to the swimming pool and the cops broke their ribs, we don’t have the whole picture, but when a white guy says he hates black people, you can’t take that seriously.

Yeah, and he just thought the colors were pretty on those white supremacist-associated flag patches he sewed on his jacket...
