Not just those. They cut one off the VR6 to make the V5 and glued two VR6s together to make the W12. The W8 was two VR6s cut down to VR4s and glued together.

It’s getting much better, and easier to remove in post-processing. Either chemically or by sanding it down- which is perfectly acceptable in such low volumes.

A base model vehicle appeals to a certain type of buyer(s?). People that want the reliability and warranty coverage of a new vehicle, but either don’t have enough money for the upscale trims or don’t care about the “frou-frou” that comes with the upscale trims.

You can also just dump some salt on a plate in a thin layer and rim it that way. Personally I like to use Tajin if it’s a standard-issue margarita, love that hint of chili.

Negative. As I stated elsewhere, the lien holder can file for a replacement title with a superseded serial number, and invalidate the current one you posses. Which then eradicates your legal claim to owning said property unencumbered.
