Look at the price.

Why are people still playing the “it’s not totally a BMW” game?

With you on this one. Drive is like driving on Special-K with a good soundtrack. I don’t care that his opening getaway car is a Chevy Impala SS (which is realistically a really good getaway car).

Well, this does explain why he’s going to take his horse down to Old Town Road.

Apologies, I’d forgotten the 10-speed would not be standard with that engine.

Wow. I’d love to know how you found this comment! That was 8 years ago. And I’m not sure I’d disagree with you anymore. But it’s also been 8 years.

The LTG in your TourX makes power higher in the rev range and carries to a higher RPM. Peak torque on the newer LSY that replaces the LTG comes in 1000rpm earlier (1500 vs 2500rpm) and makes Peak HP 500rpm lower.

Dr. Oz is already running this gig. Seems to work pretty well for him with scrubs.

There is another option for the lease-mileage-issue person, but it won’t make them happy in the short term.

Technically, they buy it for the originally agreed upon lease-end value stated on the contract. It’s actually generally higher than market value or even dealer value, unless this was the rare occasion where the depreciation was accurate.

Two Questions:

I’m sorry for not being more clear. The CT6 tops out (currently) at about $96,000 USD. The S-Class starts about there, and tops out (with similar equipment) at nearly $150,000. Of course, that won’t be the 4-cylinder.

Given the sales figures on the S-Class and the 7 Series, we may have lucked out by not getting into that arena actually.

Nevermind the electrical problems that exist in all cars, but will be even harder to Diag in the modern electric car.

Let me stop you right there, because I’m SO over this line of reasoning.

Aside from the XT5 being the top seller (or number 2 behind the ancient RX) in its segment you mean?

That’s a 2009-2014 CTS interior. Not indicative of the current cars. They feel ancient in comparison.

Yes, you do get what you pay for... wait... no you don’t.

I’ve been pulled over A LOT. Especially when I was younger and constantly had cars with electrical issues. It got to the point that I had a folder ready for the officer when they walked up. And they appreciated it, and were generally understanding.

Tom,
