Idiot Sheriff decides to protest Nike by giving them money.  Only surprise is that this guy isn’t in Florida...

I can only imagine how terrible the Caliber would fare against a 1979 Chevy Caprice...

Right?  It’s not like Fords are any nicer...

What about cars of THIS caliber?:

“who got away easy with merely a broken jaw, some missing teeth, and a broken shoulder.”

I was blown away by this when I saw it on their website.  They have an editorial process that was obviously not followed and allowed an idiot (well, his handlers, really) to just write whatever they wanted without any kind of fact-checking.

Maybe my issue is that I have a cheap Chinese ebike kit with no frills, and thus not much to go wrong.  I have spent FAR more time patching flat tubes than messing with the electric components.

If the shlubbs stuck in their cars alone hate me, then I must be doing something right! As for bikes, I don’t ever see anyone else riding while I commute on my ebike.  I can’t imagine why they would care what I am riding, and if they did care then I would discount their opinions as irrational.

Drifting is slow.  Get some better tires and stick to the ground!

“What about battery packs? “

Not this. Ebikes aren’t that bad. I have done some DIY soldering but nothing that would strain anyone who is already inclined to doing regular bike maintenance.

I feel bad for the drivers all alone in their cars stuck in traffic as I ride past them...

“Are you going to ride this bike enough to make it worth the cost?”

“Whats funny is that while Americans see the S15 Silvia as a forbidden fruit sports car, meant to be driven fast and sideways,”

I sold one two years ago and went over to Toyota, but the Buick was a great car for my budget at the time I got it.  It’s like somehow even pre-Bankruptcy GM couldn’t screw that car up!

Laquan McDonald’s third hand was behind his back pointing a gun at the officer!  No way the dash-cam video could have seen that!

Consumers will be covering increased costs no matter what we “concentrate” on, given the fact that all industries are pretty much already trying to operate as cheaply as possible (and thus any government mandates will almost by definition increase costs which are usually borne by consumers in one form or another).

“but that we would be better off investing the time and energy into making other industry cleaner before putting so much effort into getting cars that much more energy efficient.”

Funny, I was going to say something similar.

It doesn’t help his case that his testimony is directly contradicted by hard video evidence.  Reminds me of the officer in SC who was convicted recently for shooting the guy running away from him.
