Psst, most computer users are not hard core gamers. I know gamers like to think they are the only users that matter, but you’re not.

The big deal: Pure singularity of vision from its creator (zero consideration for marketing), spare-no-expense technical pioneering (first carbon car when that was impossible), and the impossibility of a car like this ever being made again (regulations — natural aspiration, lightness, etc.).
For a particular age range of people, myself included, the F1 will always be The Car. The best, most desirable, most awesome, most perfect car ever made in history regardless of how much faster cars in the future get.
I can explain. The 0.1% globally as a class are accumulating money and wealth faster than they have places to put it. And as the global wealth bubble for the 0.1% gets larger as they hoard a larger percentage of the world’s wealth, the investment vehicles they use to stash that money into to “grow money” become more…
Better than The Grand Tour. Last season was better as a whole was superior the final 3 or 4 seasons of the original trio.
This trio is actually pretty good. Not quite as good as the original three in their prime, but not far off either. There is chemistry and legit good reviews and humor.
The last season finally came into its own. I’m excited for this one. The three of them do quite well together and I don’t hate any of them (unlike the human squirrel they had on the first revamped season).
Republican in the front, skinhead in the back.
I really think there’s a LOT to be read into that response from Tom Brady to Malcolm Butler’s instagram post, and it connects in to this McDaniels thing. Brady isn’t casually going out of his way to do that without thinking about what it means. He made a statement that the most important player on the team didn’t…
Howard is a very underrated interviewer in the sense that he always manages to get people to reveal their true selves.
Those two touchdowns are a giant step forward for the league. Both were catches to any sane person who has not had their mind warped by the NFLs bullshit philosophical dissection of “what IS a CATCH, MAAAAN?”
That. movie. fucking. sucked. Ridiculous gore (as usual), a couple of bright spots (Christolphe Waltz and Diane Kruger). Just because you make something extraordinarily violent, as if that itself is enjoyable or laudable or subversive in any way, with a *tiny* undercurrent of humor, but mostly with none whatsoever,…
Zach Lowe, on his podcast the other day, talked about how the NBA has become so smart about team construction that its possible a guy like Jared Dudley is more valuable to your typical title contender than Blake Griffin. I thought about it for a bit, and it sorta makes sense.
While we’re imagining nonsense, let’s pretend they found a way to fit James Harden, Russell Westbrook and prime-era Michael Jordan on the roster, too.
Mila Kunis had legs.
I don’t think Boston is the big problem. I think Sports Radio in general is the culprit. The entire industry is modeled on artificial conflict and outrage to get listeners. It’s always going to be odious at its core, no matter what city it originates from.
Congratulations, LOTEABH. You, like many nerds, have the worst super power in the world: the ability to find every possible Worst Case Scenario. You have What-If Vision. What if you decide you want kids when it’s too late? What if your job pulls you apart? What if the world is about to erupt into a ball of atomic…
If you didn’t give season 2 a chance because of Chris Evans...
I love Tim Duncan and am saddened at his retirement, so in the spirit of stirring up some shit for no reason: if you think Kobe Bryant was the best player of their generation, and not Timmy, you are a raving madman, wandering the desert shoveling peyote into his mouth, lost in the grip of his own feverish…
