This thing (and it’s Pontiac twin) are on top of my Mount Crapmore for worst build quality i’ve ever seen in a car.
First time I sat in one, I closed the door after climbing in and saw every interior panel rattle. Got out of the car and saw the same with the exterior ones.
The only time I’ve ever been impressed by one

This is entirely about not having to pay residuals or broadcast rights fees.
WB got loaded up with WAY too much debt between its AT&T tenure and what Zaslav had to borrow to pull off the merger. Add in the popping of the streaming growth bubble and there’s pretty much no possible way for WB Discovery to grow it’s way

It was Darren Star

Is it just me, or does ARCHER seem to be running into a similar problem that SOUTH PARK did a few years back in that the behaviour that we found funny/amusing/shocking about the protagonist(s) in isolation is now grating because we seem to be constantly surrounded by it IRL?

C’mon, who wouldn’t buy this just for the opportunity to punch Ross Gellar in his stupid face for hours on end?

Still have mine, going strong with 442,000km on the odometer, regularly redlining the motor, and it only costs me consumables and wear items. The thing is a goddamn tank and regularly gets mistaken as newer than it is.

If there were a March Madness-style bracket to determine TV sitcom’s most toxic ‘nice guy’, Ted Mosby and Ross Gellar would be the 1-seeds

The great paradox of OHMSS for me is that Lazenby is, by any comparison, the worst Bond actor in the entire history of the franchise. And yet! I honestly think that that the movie as a whole doesn’t work as well if you just dropped in any of the other Bond actors.

Between watching Timopthy Olyphant in this and then Walton Goggins in The Unicorn immediately afterward, I felt like I just watched the weirdest but most enjoyable episode of Justified ever.

I get that going after Simmons every time he comments on basically anything is a running gag for this site (to be fair, it’s low-hanging fruit at times), but boy does it seem you had to reach to throw that much shade his way over this.

What’s the point of this car over a standard TLX?
ie. Why spend the extra dollars and would anyone other than the owner notice?

When running distance, always Without. It’s too hard to clear my mind otherwise, plus i end up tracking milage against song length, which makes the run longer for me.
I’ll use high-tempo playlists on treadmill runs, but that’s about it.
Of course, i’m also a curmudgeon who prefers running alone and thinks that running

I had a brief twitter exchange with Anne Wheaton where she referenced the various legal investigations underway. I can entirely buy this interpretation of events though that doesn’t still prevent Wil from stating as much (tl;dr ‘I Have feelings, but legal stuff so no comment).

Every time I think Hawke’s matured a little and learned to not sound quite so pretentious, he does this. Even if you agree with his point (and I do hear what he’s trying to say), you still want to smack him for acting like an ass.

Well if you’re going there, It’s not that big a leap to just as easily dismiss The Dark Knight as “Heat, but with Superheroes” (Nolan’s openly acknowledged the influence Heat had on TDK)

I’ve driven Pikes Peak (back when it was still partially unpaved) in a rented Corvette and run the Marathon (up, then down the Barr Trail on the east face). Both were bucket list items for me. If you haven’t driven it yet, i’d absolutely recommend it.

Specifically, Parts Unknown S08E09.
She’s been on a couple of times since.
