Several times google maps has routed me through areas where you don’t stop at red lights if you know whats good for you. I would love to see an “avoid high crime zones” checkbox. Maybe leave out the white people stuff though- racism generally doesn’t win hearts and minds.

I’m getting real sick of this “big vehicles are stupid!” trend taking over. This isn’t just you-it seems to come up every article now.

As a downtrodden G-man I can confirm this theory.

I would whole-heartedly support stiffer penalties for dangerous driving- and I agree driving tests should be more difficult (but not more expensive- god know things are pricey enough already.)

“5th gear: Great more techno-nannies to do something that I can do and add weight/complexity/cost to new cars. I also heard paying attention and keeping safe following distance prevents accidents. Why don’t we treat the root cause and not the outcome issue? Better drivers = safer roads, if you are not in the situation

Don’t bother engaging. He’s obviously just so jealous of our freedomz that he’s throwing a hissy fit. I arrive at my urban workplace in a glorious 2+ ton 4WD V8 chariot. From the sound of it he gets freighted in like a cow.
