I'm pretty sure if the woman refuses, that's it. The joke is that no one is stupid enough to believe that except for that woman. The end of the world is not a threat posed by Barney, he said that if she slept with him the world would be saved. The woman then, willingly has sex with him because she believed him. It

Tricking someone into sleeping with you is not rape as long as consent was given. Now Barney is sleazy as fuck and some of his actions are very reprehensible, but labeling him a rapist is extremely irresponsible. You may think that he shows some traits and that's perfectly valid, as your opinion, but Barney has not

The whole banter about Canada? The list of Barney's bad ideas? Ring bear-er?

Rapist? That is rather harsh and very insensitive of you. Barney hasn't raped anyone.

No mention of the puppies, though? I swear only Barney can make something so cruel and heartbreaking into something so adorable and charming.

I did figure it was a con about two-thirds of the way in because Barney wouldn't do that to Robin. I expected the surprise to be Robin's mother showing up, though.

*Shirley voice*

You mean architecture? I'll show myself out.

"Game Night" to this day is my favorite episode. Classic.

Ooh, Ooh, tag me in… I got, um… The Gang making fun of Lily/Marshall's honeymoon. Ted, Marshall, Barney discussing which name of candy is the best euphemism for boobs. And Barney going off in front of the judge because he thinks they're under oath.

Ah, so many emotions… First, I would like to confess that I almost threw my remote full-speed at the TV after the Marshall told Ted that Robin had told him she was still in love with him. I'm glad that was a stratagem. Also, loved that Robin was a bit upset that Lily kept challenging Barney to pick-up girls. Anyway.

Marshall's failed attempt at comparing someone to a famous person is always funny.

That's the way they are setting up the episodes, though. See: "The Lighthouse" a.k.a "Scramble-Off." Doesn't mean it will be filler necessarily.

Also, I don't know if they fixed it yet. but Season 8 on Netflix had some bugs, I recall. Like the names of the plays and time stamp when Barney explains the series to Quinn not appearing, are the bugs still there?

Wasn't earned? After eight years of searching Ted didn't earn that? I think you have a detachment from the show's vision and I mean that with utmost respect for your opinion.

This may be the Stockholm talking as well, but I love Detroit. I don't know, there's a certain ruggedness in the air that just gives a sense of strength and pride.

I'm constantly appalled at the dismissal and/or critique of Barney and Robin's relationship. It was one of the best and most organic developments of the show. It wasn't like a Joey/Rachel type situation.

Well, I think she explained during the episode that it was one thing not to want kids, it's another one to be told you can't have them. In regards to Kevin, she clearly pushed him to take back the proposal because she didn't want Kevin to fundamentally change his future, which included kids, for her own sake. She

Well, I have several problems with your assessment of the whole situation. Mainly, the fact that you only focus on the woman's dilemma in this particular circumstance. That's very sexist of you, in fact.

To be fair… Um, that was not his check? He liked the calligraphic nature of the number he had written and didn't want to compromise the harmonious essence of said numbers by adding more? He was saving for a lady of the night?
