They've got the capital. As long as it doesn't bias the product, which Speedhunters does a pretty good job of avoiding. Hell, EA could write a Chris Harris mode into some driving game, where the car will not, under any circumstances, go straight, or where you can play a small brown man in red shorts in other games.

I'd totally read that. But just FYI, Speedhunters is produced by Electronic Arts as a paid-for marketing piece. It's not self-supporting.

I'm trying to think of something intelligent to say by way of a reply to the fact-vacuum you just shat from your mouth.

Per Matt Farrah, in this Reddit thread:

Once upon a time, I received on a monthly basis, copies of Road & Track, Car and Driver, Motor Trend, Hot Rod, Car Craft, Grassroots Motorsports, Automobile, 4Wheel & Off-Road, Diesel Power, Racer, and Muscle Mustangs & Fast Fords, along with SportsCar from the SCCA and, weekly, AutoWeek.

For the sake of the audience who wants further detail, I figured I'd chime in here.

Owning one temporarily and actually being able to afford one while also being able to make a livelihood for yourself in the future are very different things.

Jalopnik headline: "You can have the mint condition _____ for the price of a Prius."

...on a crazy finance plan which would never had been sustainable in the long run. He had a GT3 RS 4.0 too you know, same story.

If the BBC is reading this, I nominate Chris Harris to take over any presenter spot on Top Gear when any of the current hosts are assassinated during the international filming of a christmas special.

Just in my personal experience, some people who own expensive cars are agonizingly cheap.

I know, right. It's not like he drives a hopped up, primed VW Beetle and lives in a shady part of NYC.

I understand how hard it is to make money from internet videos these days, (trust me) but I'm thinking that someone who can afford to buy (even used) a Ferrari FF must be doing ok? That's just me though..

Hi

Some cops are more prepared for the apocalypse than others...

For a Camry, sure. For an 800 hp, 2100 lb car on sticky tires, not really.

2200, unless you trailer it back.^^

Uh, let's see… 1100 miles. That's 4400 ¼ mile runs.

Looks like someone's had fun with the rear tires!
