I have AmazonFresh, and while there have been growing pains, it is fantastically helpful, especially if you live in the Bay Area and have to deal with insane commutes (because if you’re not commuting within a single city, public transit will suck).

Looks like it’s still active and available for purchase:

I worked for a company in their fleet department. The dealers are making plenty of money.

Nadiya is the queen of soda pop cakes:

The issue that arises is that amniocentesis results aren’t normally available until after the 20 week cutoff (which has become incredibly popular in the stepping stone plan to end abortion rights).

If they’re welcoming incels, then, yeah, a lot of them are pissed because they aren’t getting laid.

Brakes are a lot cheaper to maintain than a clutch or transmission.

Yes! Bought volumes 3, 4 and 5 of Squirrel Girl.

I turned in my last VW in 2003. I refuse to get another one because of treatment by VoA over an issue the car was delivered with, and having dealt with three different dealers in my area whose main goal seemed to be to screw as many customers over as possible.

I lived in Nevada. There, the cops just drop you off in the desert. LVPD was big on that for years with homeless, addicts, and prostitutes.

For me, the one item I’m stopping at the corner store for (blue collar suburbs with bodega equivalents about every four blocks) is the perishables. I’m not going out at 10 pm for Lucky Charms if I have Honeycomb on the shelf. But I will go out if I’m out of milk and know I’ll need it in the morning, or I’ve run out of

To add to 10centpower:

Are these the same VCs that poured money into a juicer that didn’t actually juice fruit and vegetables?

Because, duh, it’s overwhelmingly men talking down to women, and because of sexism in our society and learned behaviors, the situation between a man and a woman is different between a man and a man.

It could be how you’re exposed. Peanut butter, whole peanuts, peanut toppings, food cooked in peanut oil, etc. are different ways to injest peanuts, but probably result in different responses based on the amount and how quickly it breaks down in your system.

IMO, I think it’s because certain foods, including peanuts and wheat, have become a major part of processed foods. If you made those same foods at home, there would be little to no peanuts or wheat in them, but if you cook and use a packaged product, you’re going to get these foods at much higher rates then normal.

I lived in Carmichael as a kid. I was in Fair Oaks at my grandparents when one time, when the temps hit 115F, and no air conditioning.

I had that exact model and color new. I got it for $13,000. My ex totaled it. Should have dumped him then.

I had an ‘82 528e and a 325e, so I guess I’m a double loser, except I loved both of those cars. Both were stick shifts, so maybe that’s the difference. I used to drive the 528 late at night and pin it (the speedometer only went up to 85 mph; stupid) regularly while commuting.

I quit buying metal because I can’t trust the kids, even as adults, to not use the wrong one.
