I believe now that Trump was used to get Pence into office. Pence will ultimately be President, because the GOP wants him. He’s a reactionary asshole who hates everyone who isn’t white, male, straight, and right-wing Christian. The GOP may use Trump as a figurehead, but ultimately Pence is their choice.

I kicked my lesbian, ethnic minority cousin, who has apparently been recruited into the freepers by her partner (who is a typical freeper, lazy and living on the government dole), and who voted red, completely out of my life yesterday.

I have cable bundled with my internet and phone for a price that I can’t beat to have multiple providers for those services, because I’ve been with Comcast forever. They do the annual rate rise, I call them and ask to cut my services, they give me the latest discount for the next year and I keep all the channels.

I’m an adult, so if I buy a better quality coat that will last several years, as opposed to a lower quality one that will only last a couple of years, the price difference is worth it. We’ve always cooked our turkeys breast side up, covered in foil for all but the last hour. We rub them inside and out with butter and salt, which makes for crisp, rich, flavorful skin. The foil and not opening the oven all the time leads to a moister bird.

We had a milk cow for about a year when I was a teen (we gave it up because it’s time intensive and there was just way too much milk). You get the milk from a healthy, clean cow, immediately bottle it in sterilized bottles and refrigerate it, and you’re probably safe.

Don’t worry about it. If you don’t tune in every week, you wouldn’t know, nor would I expect everyone to remember. I’ve seen a few people through cancer, and lost some, so I know how little I’m suffering compared to them.
