The local charter school (NorCal) has classes from 7:30 am to 5 pm. WTH!? How is that supposed to help students and teachers?

I recommend taking a drama class or two. It’s amazing what you can learn to fake.

I’m very sorry for your loss. People seem to think that when you’re young you’ll recover more easily. That’s not true. It’s a greater shock. As I get older, loss becomes more common, and I’ve become more accepting.

I gave up most of my family, but it’s been worth it. I miss them, but I couldn’t live that life.

I went door to door as a Jehovah’s Witness. I had to do the whole “I can’t participate in holiday stuff” at school. I hated nearly every minute of it, but I still did it, and I was still anti-choice for a long time after I left.

I lost my first husband when I was 32. Numb slog is a perfect description. I cried hysterically the first day, after they took his body away, then I just shifted into going through the motions. It was about a year before I got back to mostly functioning. Three years before I didn’t tear up when I thought about him.

I truly believe that closure doesn’t exist. You reach a point where you move on, or you get stuck.

I think they both used the same crap plastic surgeon.

I have my DVR set to capture every episode on every channel, new and repeats. It’s the only way to save my sanity.

In high school, I regularly had the a bag of Cheetos and the equivalent of a Wendy’s Chocolate Frosty for lunch. Yeah, I miss that metabolism.

I get into food ruts, but they usually only last a few weeks to a couple of months. I burn out and move on. This just illustrates what a Republican “we fear change” this POS is.

I have family in the Ozarks who are Democrats. But they keep a low profile. They mostly have small, local businesses.

The big issue is that sexual assault is a warning sign of greater violence. How many news stories of murderers have you seen lately where it was noted that the murderer had been convicted of sexual offenses.
