That's so clever, I want to sign in on a burner account to star you again.
Oh, so your friend smoked a lot of dope?
I'm proud we're part of the same choir!
Danny, why is cake?!?
Ah ha. My kids are older so I haven't had to suffer through any crap shows in a while.
I remember a different version of that. In the mid/late 70s (my core cartoon era), I recall Friday night preview specials before the season started. But as a regular Donnie & Marie viewer, I'd see them cross-promote some of the Saturday shows also in their Sid & Marty Kroft family.
I'm with you, brother. I really miss the full-on bizarro live-action stuff too. Anything by Sid & Marty Krofft, Land of the Lost, etc. There's nothing to match that weirdness today.
Hey, I'm a fan of maudlin. But I also love animation. Sure, the abundance may make it seem less special but it's also increased the standards for what's good enough to stand out.
I don't mean to antagonize but which shows do you mean?
I'm with you, mostly. That anticipation was mostly about scarcity, not quality. I'm a nostalgic fool for sure. Even so, I probably watch way more animation now, as a middle-aged dude, than I did as a kid. I think I enjoy it more too.
Thank you for calling bullshit on this aw-shucks nonsense.
That's badass. All it needs is a SkyNet logo.
Do you mean her TV character's voice?
I thought she was actually supposed to have pretty good pipes.
It would be completely way more expensive.
You are a gazillion per cent right.
Polish? Like Siri?
A really unfortunate opening line. I was so turned off by it, I almost scrolled past in disgust and missed some pretty insightful and provocative points.
I think you have that backwards.
And what's wrong with these lady parts?
