I just noticed a dent above the door but not quite on the roof of my car, where the door frame would be if the window had a full frame. It’s very shallow and hard to notice, but it’s there. Maybe an inch and a half across. No idea how it got there or what to do about it.

Oh by the way, I went ahead and counted the number of articles filed under the tag “rally” versus the tag “drifting” from February 16, 2017 to today. Here are the results:

Drifting is easy to understand, approachable, and still uses cars that are readily attainable by a large portion of the blog readership. It’s also a visual and aural spectacle. Simply put, it’s something fun to do in a car that looks cool. This is what all of the articles about drifting on Jalopnik have focused on.

Yeah Best Car just pulls renders out of their ass and calls it a leak

This argument feels like it’s roughly on the same level as “Well all of those Japanese cartoons have characters with big eyes and crazy colored hair so obviously they’re not supposed to be Japanese people with squinty eyes and black hair” so I guess it’s good to link to for someone spouting off like that.

So there are people who enjoy these articles, and the authors who want to write these articles, but because you can’t be assed to just scroll past an article that doesn’t specifically cater to you, you want everyone else to get less of what they want.

Nah it’s not about confusion of Keystone vs Stone. It’s about “Stone” being written in big letters on the can with “key” smaller and off to the side and easy to miss.

Wow 10 years ago Tim Rogers was almost vulgar at times

My tip is to drive a lowered car to Roppongi Hills and try to park in one of the garages for the complex, if your car is too low for the normal garages they will politely wave you on to garage 7 I think, which is full of supercars that also can’t get in garages 1-6 without scraping.

SC300s may have had nice interiors when they were new, but I have yet to see one that’s still in good shape today.

I want to go check out that golden pyramid or the kinda melon/geodesic dome in Kotaku City

My wife did this in my car with me in the passenger seat. Pulling out of a parking lot, me saying waitwaitwaitholdon and then CRUNCH.

Hmm if anything I think Fancy Kristen could be the reason why Jalopnik got the invite

To be fair, once upon a time Tim was known for writing extremely long articles where everyone would go into the comments and complain about how long they were.

Anecdotally this sure as shit was me in high school peeling out of the movie parking lot after seeing the first Fast and Furious!

The newer ones at least are fine for Japan’s highways, which are usually two lanes of traffic each way with speeds around 60 mph.

Kewpie with some miso mixed in works great

There’s a red light camera on Overland in Culver City

oh sweet I’m also 6'4" and slouch I can produce the same effect at will

Interesting. Well, I’m glad the keys for our Honda don’t do that, since we only got one and I’m stuck using the valet key...
