I think the difference here is that Tolkien’s masterworks aren’t met with widespread disdain in the way video-games are. So the author’s sentiments boil down to “so now you like TLOU, huh? After you made fun of us for playing vidjagames?” or some such. Sounds silly, I know.

(Obligatory) Pantsu misete moratte yoroshii desuka?

Yup yup! I was pleased. Waiting for a longer trailer so I can see more of this.

They’re worth poring through for the nth time I’ll tell you that much. :)

(The AI crowd in the comments)

I definitely love the callback to the Eastman & Laird art-styles, especially with the janky “sketched” architecture. This looks like it’s going to be a fun ride.

What Switch owner didn’t already get it with their console?

Would this also mean that the site will no-longer stack 3 video articles consecutively so a smartphone reader will inadvertently get one to accidentally play?

More like “Right wing (govvies make) bad (game).”

Gamers hated Part2 because they were put into a sphere that they normally don’t operate in while playing games: self-reflection.

Thank you for taking the time to break it down and explain things. I really appreciate it.

We are also due for new 2D and 3D Super Mario games.

I saw someone comment either here or on another forum about how this is quite similar to how the Chick-Fil-A debacle played out a decade ago, where liberals were all for Gay rights but still went to the outlets because “they make some great chicken” or some such. If your friends are going to say the same thing about

...by even going as far as creating a website to tell you whether a streamer has played said video game...

That’s valid but streaming isn’t available to Indian players for some reason.

This looks wonderful and I can’t wait to play it. Problem is I have an Xbox One X and don’t plan on upgrading to a Series console anytime soon. Really wish we’d got this one. I understand why we won’t, moving forward but it still stings a little.

I know you’re doing a bit, but most Daft Punk fans know what Guy and Thomas look like without their helmets.

Oh I’m picking this up for sure. You had me at Sekiro. Thanks for clearing that up for me though.

Sekiro was my first Souls-like and I played it the way I would something like Ninja Gaiden and Splinter Cell combined. Which is probably why I love the damn thing. I dig the rhythmic nature of the parries and the occasional Mikiri counters.

I notice a general lack of Ninja Gaiden being mentioned both as part of Team Ninja’s portfolio of games and the ones Wu Long is inspired by. Does that mean the new ninja-like will carry none of my favourite series’ mechanics? Damn
