They can actually ask people to go topless in auditions for regular shows? I can understand specific roles where the role specifically says they need you to be nude, like some of the nude Hosts in various shots of Westworld. But it sounds like they didn't tell Brie in advance that the role would involve nudity and

I am totally there for this. Please don't fuck up the casting and tone.

Akroyd's right. The film just cost way too much for what it was - it only cost about $5 million less than Wonder Woman.

That photo is rather interestingly arranged. It looks like she's oogling Jughead's butt from close-up.

I think he's getting really paranoid about being pushed out like O'Reilly. His twitter feed is something else.

I'm sure it'll be good by the time they get to the penultimate episode with the big battle.

Agreed. I really think they needed another episode after the first kiss before Aku shows up (speaking of which, more episodes with some of them Aku-centered would be good too).

He didn't really have a choice - Ashi opened the portal and pulled him through before he realized what was happening. It's fitting, considering that he was flung through to the future in surprise as well.

That's a good point about the ending. The season began with Jack stumbling towards an uncertain future, and it ends with him facing an uncertain future. He told Ashi that all he could carry with him about the past was the memories, and now all he has to carry with him of the 50+ years he spent in the Bad Future are

What a nutcase.

Good times. Reminds me of this about the last Pirates movie:

The lead-up to and events of the First Blackfyre Rebellion would be a great subject for a spin-off series. A sequel series to the main one would be a giant spoiler just in its existence, but it might also be very interesting (although perhaps a tad post-apocalyptic).

Nice of them to go official. That's been in the rumors for years.

Conan O’Brien spinning his wedding ring on his desk every night for several minutes at a time.

Well, this is strange and kind of funny. Lots of lawsuits will probably be flying over this. It sounds like all the instagram folks paid to endorse this are lying very low in the aftermath.

They gotta do it the Dark Tower Way: introduce it in the last 25 minutes of the film.

Crap, they kicked it into August. That doesn't bode well for how well the studio thinks it will do (otherwise they'd move it into the winter movie season).

Oh no. What will happen to Peter Abernathy 2.0, he of the excellent mustache?

The Jungle Book live-action film cut out all but one of the songs, and it was really good. The main problem is that it adds another constraint to your casting - you need not just good actors, but good actors who can also sing well enough that auto-tune and sound editing can make up for the rest.

Or, Arrival aside, is it just more fun (and profitable) when E.T. goes HAM?
