Counter title: Play Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order on whatever difficulty you want to.  Each person gets different levels of enjoyment out of their games, and just because you think it should be played on one for the best enjoyment doesn’t mean others will enjoy it too.  I’ve been playing on Jedi Knight difficulty, and

“I am completely fine with [the perpetual taste of boot in my mouth].”

but it’s better to think of it as Stadia going into beta or “early access.”

It’s not “untrue” that this isn’t also going to functionally be a beta test.

The way to gain access to the game is to have Randy do a magic trick for you.

Someone employed by a video game company and who fought to defend that video game company in the court of law is now the deputy executive director as well as general counsel of an organization that has a history of demonizing video games. Seems relevant.

Well Said.

Trolls have been out in force since the news broke yesterday attempting to milk a universal tragedy into a weapon. It’s not a tragedy to them, it’s the newest weapon to try and discredit all women and defang any future accusation.

I’m already seeing the comments, so let’s be clear about something here:

Someone did a breakdown of as many of the mass shootings they could find since Trump took office where we could find some indication of the political leaning of the shooter. In all but one case, the shooter leaned Republican. Out of over a thousand (for reference, if we use the FBI definition of a mass shooting, where

Your argument lacks logic and snacks of nothing but being a hate speech apologist.

It’s the Republicans because they’ve long since welcomed racists into the fold. Most Republicans (leadership) were ok with this because it brought them votes. Usually it was kept in check with dog whistles but now, with this President, it’s just overt and it’s showing in so many ways not even counting these shootings.

Cesar Sayoc. The El Paso Shooter. Dylan Roof. The Christchurch shooter (directly stated he was inspired by Trump). Shall I go on?

The Republicans will use ANYTHING they can to deflect blame from the fact that they have been sticking their toes in the waters of racism since Nixon, and stoking the flames of hate and violence the whole time. They refuse to do anything sensible about gun violence. They refuse to address their racist base of violent

I fully support the message about harassment ... the microtransaction apologism, not so much. After 10 years of increasingly predatory monetization the “you don’t understand the videogame industry”and “it’s just cosmetics” excuses are hollow.
