Sadly, Andromeda wasn’t nearly as bad as the reviews/online reaction.  They fixed a lot of the visual bugs and character models, and some QoL issues.  I actually think Andromeda is a better game today than the Outer Worlds which is getting rave reviews (and yes, I’m thoroughly enjoying it).  I’m sad the game was shit…

but I don’t want Overwatch 2.  Overwatch 1 is doing just fine for me, I don’t want to have to buy another game and start over with heroes and skins...

damn, 26mpg avg. my 2013 Buick Regal GS averages 21mpg, and I’m not known to be a pedal to the metal kind of guy.

sadly, I can’t justify spending $50 for essentially 2 OW skins.  since I wouldn’t use the rest, and a streaming blizzcon ticket isn’t all that exciting.  I’ve done it in the past and its never felt worth it compared to just watching the recap vids a couple hours later.

my problem is just that I’ve had an xbox one since launch and I’ve only played a single game on it. The system just feels kind of unnecessary.  I have a PS4, a switch, and a gaming PC.  the Xbox One doesn’t have anything that I can’t get elsewhere.

I’m honestly surprised they killed thinkgeek. I think a better plan would have been to expand thinkgeek and disolve gamestop. Make thinkgeek a clothing, trinket, geek store that happens to sell games. They can keep some of the physical locations, but focus on the web store, and expand into board games, and other nerdy…

there already aren’t any near me anymore. they’ve moved around to chase cheaper rents, and now they aren’t conveniently located to anyone.

no firetv stick... well, damn.  I guess I won’t be subscribing to Disney+ for a while.  I love my firetv stick and have no desire to buy a bunch of new devices.

and another MS show with nothing interesting for me.  Its almost sad that I’ve played exactly one game on my Xbox One, and I’ve owned one since launch.  It just feels like all the games I’m interested in, are coming out on the PS4, Switch, or PC.

I’d love to own the digital version, but its still really limited.  I want to replay through the main campaign again, but there is no way I’m buying the board game again, nor am I going to convince my wife to spend a few months grinding our way through it again.

I really like Kill Bill, Reservoir Dogs, and Django Unchained.  But I pretty strongly dislike his other films.

so, is the only original Disney + show going to be the Mandalorian?  if that is the case I’ll just wait till next year when more content I haven’t yet seen is on their platform.
