If somebody is gaining more weight in the long term than they are comfortable with, that’s a subject they can address with some big picture changes to their life. (There’s also a lot more to health than whether you’re getting slightly heavier each year. Are you exercising? Is your heart healthy? Is your weight

It’s one effing meal. If you take care of yourself more often that not, one effing meal will not give you heart disease/make you obese.

>> Autistic people should have the same professional opportunities as anyone else. Obviously. But there are other factors at play that go into casting someone.

Submarine commanders are not a marginalized/disenfranchised group, and unlike autistic actors they are not struggling to find good roles in Hollywood. The comparison does not apply.

I get that this is mostly a joke, but it’s exactly the sort of thing that’s going to scare the crap out of people from getting the vaccine. Using inert strains of virus has been proven effective for over 100 years, and the testing protocols are designed to ensure safety.

If that user can open that page on nir PC in any other browser and have it render right, then Firefox is absolutely the problem.

Eh, I’ll be the control group. I’ll take a million dollars and attempt to surround myself with people who know what they’re doing and allow them to excel in their field.

Does Elon really work his ass off 1.8 million times harder than the average person, though?

the stories about Apple supply chain operations seem to echo the same sentiment.

And for those that doubt me and I’ve dismissed, I work for a FAANG/Big Tech/whatever you call it. Everyone knows someone from somewhere in the industry. Plenty of stories from Apple, FB, Microsoft, Amazon. When you kno leadership, there’s plenty of stories of Jeff Bezos, Satya, Sundar, Tim Apple, Steve Jobs, Bill

I am willing to test this hypothesis. Now if I can just find someone to give me a billion dollars to get started...

that was a given. having that school in texas give up millions before he would build here when he was the most valuable auto manufacturer in the world. he couldve paid the money out of his bonus and not noticed it missing.

Damn, you’re creepy as shit.

You know who else is a dick? My boss. And he’s not even a billionaire/millionaire.

I worked as a direct vendor to Tesla, and let me tell you, I’ve never worked with a worse group of people. All of the purchasers I worked with were absolute egotistical shitbrains. To talk to them should have caused me to kneel and beg for their blessing.

Nobody I’ve known who has worked for Elon has had good things to say about him.   So, this sounds about right.
