The trick is to leave Idaho and never return. It is what doctors are doing.

It’s scary how full-fascist the GOP is going now. It’s really ramped up the last few months.

Easiest NP in a while. $6500 is close to fun money in today’s car market, and this is about as clean as you could hope to find one of these outside of a ritzy auction house. Buy it, drive it for a year, sell it for the same or more next year.

I don’t know why, but the idea that an active Supreme Court Justice is at Bohemian Grove is just wild. Private jets and yachts, I get. But to hang up the robe on Friday, just to be at the at the Owl Shrine on Saturday, wow.

Slow down folks. 162 feet is not “one of the largest superyachts in the world”. It doesn’t crack the top 178 (that’s as far as wikipedia counts). However, given that the 178th largest yacht in the world is 246 feet long, I’m comfortable saying this thing doesn’t crack the top 200.

Seems like a lot of risk at 160k miles for only 20/24mpg. Hybrid batteries average 180-200k miles before failure, and replacement is ~$4k. Just get the V8.

That plastic cladding is swerving pretty seriously into Pontiac Aztek territory.

The school drop off lines won’t know what hit them.

Subaru.  Single handedly trying to bring back bad cladding.  GM is triggered...

You know, if they put a stick in this (I know, I know...) or at least a traditional auto, I’d give it a serious look.  But I absolutely HATE CVTs - even good ones.

At that price and age I’d take my chances after an inspection. If it blew up on me I’d repair it. If it did a second time, I’d repair it and sell it. That price is the kind of price where I could afford the risk, but at the age it is, it would either have had its fits or not, IMO, even with the low mileage.

I know who Subaru thinks they’re going to sell these cars to, but I’m on the front lines and I’m telling you- they’re wrong. This car is like sensible shoes. Organic toaster pastries from Trader Joe’s.

If you were going to put in the Duke, you should have included the KTM 390 Adventure. It’s priced right in the middle of all the bikes you’ve listed, is fine for light off roading as well as street and has a full modern electronic oe suite with lean sensitive ABS, traction control and ride modes. It’s a heck of a good

Seriously, a guy who still has a loan on a 2008 vehicle that they value at $19k.

This is less about black culture and more about Hip Hop culture. They are not one in the same. I watched an interview with Penny Hardaway the other day in which he talked about people don’t realize how hard it is to be a young black man with millions of dollars. It is hard for young people who can’t afford sky high

Too often, Black men who reject this grammar or do not embody it are viewed as soft or white.

The move is just to 9:00 am east coast time. We had some juggling this week that postponed one posting to 10:00 am, but that was an outlier. I hope the time shift doesn’t mess up everyone’s morning-poop reading regiment.

Find a used Yamaha WR250R. EFI, disc brakes, 250cc, similar weight and proven. Those things are damn near indestructible.

Had a carb before EFI.  Will never go back.

You (kinda) had me until rear drum. You can buy any number of Chinese clones of this bike with more displacement and a rear disc.

Carbs work until they don’t, but I’ve never had EFI fail. I have three motorcycles, (2 EFI 1 carb) and the fuel injected ones are simply a superior experience. No fiddling with a choke, better fuel economy, and seasonal layup becomes a non-issue.
