If I’m going big it has to be a Kamaz. Personally, I’d settle for a short-bed single cab diesel F-250 with a slide in poptop camper. That would go just about anywhere short of single track KLR 650 land. I’ve seen plenty of those monster campers hanging out in the library parking lot in Moab, or parked in a gravel pit

It’s easy to pull studs. I got pulled over for studs past the deadline once in Anchorage. I think it was mid-June.* The cop wrote me a fix-it ticket. As you suggest, DW-40, but next you get a small sturdy screwdriver, put on a pair of thick safety glasses and just pry those suckers out. They tend to fly about. I

I am perma-greyed on here despite having a 40 year career in environmental law and science and having things to say, I say things like this- Yo, Brianna, there’s no such place as Seward, Arkansas. AK is an abbreviation for ALASKA. Seward, Alaska is on the Kenai Peninsula and named after the Secretary of State, William

I had to look it up, but ten states allow unrestricted permitless concealed carry. The only surprise for me was that Florida is not one of them.

If I’m going to get arrested for the color of my car it should be capable of actually breaking the law. ND (close call though).

Where is this place that Covid “ended?” I’m intrigued and looking for a new home. Here in Antivaxxistan they’re backing refrigerated containers into the hospital parking lot because they can’t get rid of the bodies fast enough. The death rate from the Delta variant has exceeded the body count from last winter already.

You could tear down all the Ford statues you want, but there’s millions of monuments to Henry roaming around the country every day in the form of the F-150.

I see a lawsuit against Ford because the lane departure warning didn’t go off at the bottom of the pass.

More stars!

I’ve already implored a friend in Nanaimo to let me park on his side lawn for two years. Under a tarp where it won’t fare well and the mold will set in and... nevermind.

I have a lifted, armored, and 35'd JKU and would think twice about going over Black Bear unless I was in a group with spotters to help. I took a ride in a Bronco Sport Outer Banks last week to go fishing. My friend couldn’t see over the bulges in the hood and holed the air dam on a rock going up a very slight incline.

Idaho doesn’t have such problems. I mean there’s some traffic issues with the reefer units backing up to the hospital parking lots, but the van lifers are staying away I’m told. John Denver ruined Colorado, not the van lifers. I left in 1979 and am appalled by the development since (Boulder excepted).

My neighbor’s kid has a Ram Pro Master kitted out nicely for camping. If it came in AWD it would take market share from Sprinters I’d think.

I’m making plans right now to buy a villa in Sibiu to showcase the Dacia Sandero I’ll buy with all the money I cash out of this house in Antivaxxistan.

Just what I need. An ADV bike with an immobilizer that will inevitably decide to act up in the middle of the Mojave while I’m ATGATTed up in gear I won’t be able to get off before I quickly stew to death in my own juices. Give me a new and improved KLR any day.

I need to balance out my carbon karma and offset my woods-dedicated Wrangler (never mall crawled) with a Prius Prime before Al Gore comes for me. But good luck finding one within 500, let alone 200, miles of where I live. I’ll pay over sticker even.

The full size plain white van of any denomination now being overlooked while the Ford Transit Connect gets all the flexes on the gram. (too soon?)

Agreed. Came here to question future viability of RHD. You’d think the bright red states like Texas would be the first to ban these immigrant vehicles with funny driver’s wheels. Australia banned certain newer LHD vehicles and makes you retrofit them to RHD now. Will likely happen here. Except what happens to all the

With the SxS and its roll cage being far safer.
