Or get a dual sport motorcycle, pack it with all your crap, have an off, unload everything from the bike just so you can pick it up again and you’ll learn really fast what is essential. Pro tip, save old used underwear with tears. Wear it one or two days and toss them.

Fix-a-flat ruins the rim? I didn’t know this. Please elaborate. I’ve counted on using that and my tire plugging kit combined with a compressor. I still have a spare mounted on the back of my Wrangler, but it’s possible to get two flats in some areas or rip a sidewall then there’s no plugging it. 

Or you could just buy a 2022 KTM 300 XC-W TPI (103.4 KG).
