I’m in for NP. I picked up a 2004 S4 with high miles and in rougher shape. Used it as a DD for about 40k miles. Never any engine issue, some other minor issues. My mechanic said get out while you can, so I did. Wish I had known then that I was gonna be working from home soon after, would have held on to it.

I live in the Shenandoah valley and there are a couple roads near me where it is very easy to get air. Nothing dangerous, but enough to put a smile on your face, or scare the crap out of an unsuspecting passenger.

My B6 S4 was around 170k miles when I finally sold it. Surprisingly the only thing that didn’t go wrong were the plastic guides. As great as the car was between trips to the shop, I would not recommend buying one.
