Not concussion related, but I just wanted to say I'm loving these Vitals articles. Keep up the good work!

I'm not a programmer (at least not much of one) and I thought this was weird as well.
for now
This is exactly what I was thinking. If you have enough self control to not overreact and say something that's potentially harmful, why get into an argument at all?
I say this as someone who thoroughly enjoyed "I Will Teach You To Be Rich" for its actual content, if reading the things emphasized in caps annoys you definitely don't get the audio book on Audible. Ramit is definitely a very passionate person who reads the book with a lot of character that some people might find…
Just in time as I wanted to start developing my first Android app. Can anyone recommend some beginner resources that are going to be based on the latest information?
This is great for those times when you know what answer is, but don't know where you went wrong calculating it. And it's free?!?! Amazing.
Honestly Delta's great. In Detroit they're one of the main airlines out of DTW and I can honestly say I've never had a bad experience using them and I typically fly about four or five times a year for the past few years.
Never thought about using Amazon. That's a good idea!
Not to mention the fees are ridiculous. If those fees actually went to offering protections for sellers it might be worth it, but it's just not worth the hassle for me anymore. Not to mention using the clusterbeep that is Paypal.
I find mentioning in the ad to not offer less than x or you'll be ridiculed and actually ridiculing low ballers tends to work.
I think it depends on what you're selling. Sure there's more hassle dealing with flaky people, but you also don't have almost 10% of your same going to sales, with the risk of EBay not being anywhere near zero. I've probably sold the same amount of stuff on both services and I've had more issues with EBay.
I do basically the same thing. I'll start stressing about a paper or exam I have coming up, but then I'll remind myself that there's a time and a place to worry/plan for those things and 3am in the bed is neither of those things/places. I also try and disengage my brain from any thinking I can do, like counting things…
My fiance always complains about chain dentists. She told me one of them only allocated 15 minutes for a cleaning, which is ridiculous.
Quit being a pedantic asshole. Compared to the large majority of readers here, even a dental hygenist is more of an expert than someone off the street; Dave calling him an expert is fine. As for someone being a "new dentist", we're talking about someone who has probably invested 10+ years in intense schooling and…
Yup, this. I'm not a hygenist, but my fiance is and she mentioned when she first started at the office she works at now she got this a lot. Apparently the other hygenist wasn't diagnosing patients that had periodontal disease so they were surprised to find out they had it.
Agreed you can't just watch a game one time and know the rules, but by watching a sport you get a feel for more than just the rules. You learn a lot more about the players and teams which provides a lot more context into other things. So and so got injured/traded/arrested/suspended? If you've watched a few games…
I know the whole premise behind this is to not spend a whole lot of time, but honestly if you're not willing to spend 2-3 hours passively learning about the game, you really shouldn't bother. Sure 2-3 hours in one chunk sounds like a lot, but at least for hockey (my game of choice — if the Red Wings user icon wasn't…
Yeah, out of all the positive things I've heard about them I would have expected them to be higher. One thing I found odd is that inconclusive is smack dab in the middle of the y-axis, when I think it probably should have been right above no evidence. It would have also been nice to do a search to find exactly what…
