Yeah it's certainly not for everyone. When I switched over from Verizon I transferred that number to Google Voice so whenever I need to make a call from home I use Hangouts.

Oh then you should be fine. What part of Michigan are you in?
Might be worth checking out a coverage map in that case. Even if T-Mo doesn't work, it's still worth checking out your other options.
If you look on their website here, it's in small print right above Unlimited Family Plans towards the bottom. They really do a good job of hiding it and right under it they mention "This plan is only available for devices purchased from Wal-Mart or devices activated on T-Mobile.com." The plan has a few other small…
Completely agree, I just figured I would preface it since you guys didn't explicitly mention T-Mo. I don't think they have contracts anymore.
Yes, but a lot of the time I'm using a radio playlist which I steam. I already have a lot of music pinned from Google Music for times when coverage is spotty. I didn't mean to insinuate that Google Music was steaming only, but after re-reading my comment I can see how someone who is unfamiliar might come to that…
I'm not on an off contract carrier, but I am on T-Mobiles pre-paid 100 min/unlimited data (LTE up to 5GB)/text plan for $30, but I think if you get clever you can certainly make it work. I've got a 45 minute commute to work from my house, so I definitely munch through a ton of content, but I have my podcasts and…
Came in here to recommend this as I just got done reading (listening?) to this book on Audible. Great advice overall, but I agree that his humor was a bit off-putting. I found it amusing to imagine it being read/written by Tom (Aziz Ansari) from Parks and Recreation helped the off beat humor fit a little bit better.
Oh that's desire alright... desire to eat your face off your skull.
Yeah I think this is the trick like here. The micro expressions these actors are revealing are throwing me off and don't feel genuine. I feel the NY Times one is better as it focuses on just the eyes, so you're not getting false readings from other parts of their face and the people look more authentic.
Yeah, I'm calling this test bunk as well. I scored a 19 out of 20 on the NY Times emotions test and am usually really good at reading people and I got three out of the first four wrong. With no context, this:
1) There is no tipping with Uber. It's not included in the price and it's not expected or necessary. Tipping is a way to pay people below minimum wage and make the customer make up the difference instead of the business owner. Drivers will always say "I want tips" - of course they do, the dude at Best Buy that sold…
Pretty much acquiring credit of any kind is going to affect your credit score/rating in some manner, but I agree that pretty much all retail credit cards offer shit rewards compared to them.
Very small indeed. I overlooked it several times before I realized it was there.
There's a tiny asterisk that mentions only if you're an infant or elderly. With that being said, if I get bit by a black widow I'm immediately going to the doctor.
Another reason to brew beer. After steeping the grains and doing the full boil the house is full of moisture and delicious beer smells.
Egg boxes from grocery stores are great as they hold a lot and have handles.
One thing to keep in mind is that most stores will honor sales prices until the return period is over. This means you could buy the laptop you want now if she's in a pinch and then if the price drops and you're still within the return period, you can usually go back and get a price adjustment for the product. We used…
