I think that's my main issue, as I could see myself in either role. I like the idea of developing useful software (especially in UI/UX design), but I sort of struggled a little bit when I took Java. I've done some reading about designing and implementing a MySQL database using PHP and it was interesting reading about

Haha, nice! Yeah I'm trying to take as many classes at OCC as possible. It's a bit of a pain, but the savings should be worth it. I'm still a bit torn on whether I should do CS or Information Systems, but I think I'm going to do CS and switch if I don't like it.

I've been taking classes at a local community college (OCC in MI) and in order to progress you have to get a C or higher (even a C- means you're retaking it). I'm actually glad, as it forces people to get it on some level, but I definitely wish I would have studied more early on. I thought I was going at calc 1, so I

Yeah, math has never been a strong point of mine. I squeaked by Trigonometry with a C and I think I can probably squeak by Calc 1, but I think I'll need to do fairly well just to be able to make it through Calc 2. I had a really bad college algebra teacher, so there is a part of me that is thinking about retaking it

Definitely not looking forward to taking Calc 1 or Calc 2 to get my CS degree.

Lol I shouldn't read Lifehacker before my coffee.

My comment was more on the picture and the fact it looks like she's fellatting that fella.

Some people have a lower tolerance to hangovers, especially if your alternating between different types of alcohol (or even different types of beers). There is definitely a middle ground where you can still drink enough to have a hangover, but not make an ass out of yourself or completely lose control of your ability

No, but you seem like the kind of person who doesn't understand sarcasm.

Great advice here. I've used these tactics in the past and successfully renegotiated my rent. The only time this might buy work is if you're a bad/annoying tenant or your landlord is dumb.

Yup I probably read about it on Lifehacker through Digg if it's that time frame. Helped me a lot doing computer restores at my tech job at the time.

I used Magic Jelly Bean keyfinder for years. Simple and easy to use.

That's one way to make people like you!

Yup, noticed this the other day as well. Why the hell would they do this?

Didn't know about that command, thanks!

While I agree with this, some auto parts stores have recently started charging a deposit of several hundred dollars before using the scanner, so it might be a good idea to call ahead before just stopping in. I won't shop at places that do this out of principal alone, so I unfortunately can't remember which one it was

Has anyone used cell swapper successfully? Trying to get out of my Verizon contact early, but searching Google for successful swaps didn't reveal much.

Not soon enough. Biggest pet peeve of mine.

Yeah I suppose I could have elaborated. Is this is kit or are you doing it all by hand?

Changing over the nasty orange LEDs in my Scion tC to a cooler blue. I already did the gauge cluster in white, so all that's left is the steering wheel controls.
