I wonder what they told the person in that picture. “In search of fat person to stare despondently at scale in empty room."

That’s not really true. One of my best friends isn’t ripped, per say, he’s just a muscular dude. But at 5'10" and 210 pounds, he registers as overweight. Doctor told him not to lose any weight, though, because he’d look malnourished, essentially. So it really just depends on the person.

I dunno, GIF aside it seems like a pretty useful feature for some email threads...

I, however, am both introverted and disagreeable, so that makes perfect sense.

So, just thought I’d total this up, because it really irritates me that DC thinks they need 5 versions of every comic. There are:

I think that’s kind of a... misinformed argument to make. When you make a movie, you don’t have to pay royalties to manufacturers for the use of their hardware. That’s just not how it works. But you do have to pay royalties to any music you license or, generally, any footage you might license. So why shouldn’t Let’s

Yes, but regardless, that does not make this by default acoustically transparent. It would have to not interfere at all with the air molecules.

I’d bet it’s the same one trying to take my brother to court for making fun of him online. I expect that case to be entertaining, they couldn’t even spell all the names right.

For only $30, hell, I’d get a bunch for my regular computer.

I never liked that Mint could access my bank accounts. Seems very not secure...

The even sell oranges that have already been squeezed into juice for you! What an outrage!

Technically it is pressure waves in the air, so this would also have to not interfere with pressure waves.

Does that make it acoustically transparent, too? That would be a cool speaker cloth.

Those ads are absolutely irritating and definitely not a good thing to have in an app designed to be used WHILE DRIVING A CAR. Furthermore, for some reason Waze has more trouble getting my location of my GPS, keeps telling me GPS unavailable when Maps uses it just fine.

Everyone knows that we have to keep manual drive in there for when the robots take over and try to kill you by controlling your car.

There is about zero reason to use a product like this in a recording studio. You record direct into a computer (or tape if you want the tape sound). A product like this is going to be for on location movie/TV shoots, in which case it will be put in a bag and worn over the shoulder. I record music and have worked on TV

All the Marantz stuff I’ve seen uses generic batteries, run just fine off the same packs as the cameras.

I didn’t say run it on a D-cell. I was literally saying take that internal bit and just open the back of the unit and slide it in. You know, like on my Galaxy Note.

I think the bigger issue herr, though, is WHY does the battery need this super specific form factor? Could they not have just made it so you just take the back off the product and plug it in instead of an expensive custom case? So I really don’t think the price here is justified.

I’m in the same boat (well, except on PC). I don’t care about having (and actually don’t want) all my photos on the cloud. I just want a good way to organzie them on my computer. Really annoyed that the one good, fast, free app for that is getting canned.
